1 /5 Kenny cruz: Beware this organization will not REFUND you any money that you are ENTITLED TO. I visited this dental center several months ago and I was robbed. I was asked to pay a large amount of money upfront for a dental procedure that my insurance verified they were going to cover. I was told as soon as my insurance pays them they will immediately return my money. Several months later countless visits to the center and several emails TO SUPERVISORS Im still getting the runaround. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY! P.S. I have all the documentation that the insurance company paid the bill.

1 /5 HANDSOME DICK MANITOBA: I don’t understand 4.6. I don’t understand at 70 years old and negative New Yorkers absolutely the worst experience I ever had in a doctor or dentist office. It wasn’t even an experience. I called seven times left email messages left voice messages. Finally I walked over there 5:40. They said online they’re open till six. A man with a mop wave me off. I said I just wanna ask somebody a question. I walked eight blocks. He said there’s nobody here at that moment. A nurse walked by I said may I please just ask you a question she goes leave a message I go ma’am I left seven messages. They kept saying they’ll call me back even the little guy that comes on to ask you questions gave me all bad information and they wouldn’t let me open the door at 20 to 6 to ask a couple of questions this is the mostunprofessional evil horrible dental office I’ve ever had in 70 years.

5 /5 Cingular 789: I always had a fear of dentist imagining the worst pain possible but since Ive been going to this location everything has been put to the side they are kind patient-friendly and gentle. They really put the patients comfortability first. I highly recommend this place to anyone whos always had a fear of dentists or just wants a good experience.

1 /5 joe jagos: Avoid this office. For years they have been claiming they do pre-authorizations with insurance. They do not even when I have requested them. They only estimate it in house and you will always get a different bill for more or double months later. You cannot pay online. This is my only bill where you have to send a check in. The doctors themselves are good, but their billing department is an absolute mess.

1 /5 Faith Stonner: Never leave these reviews but I’ve been a patient here for several years and the doctors are excellent, esp Dr. Kaufman. However, the major downside is that they never answer the phone… ever. I lived in the East Village for years and would walk over to get things sorted. I now live in Florida and received a duplicate bill. Have been trying to contact them for 4 months via calls, voicemails and texts with no responses. I have no choice but to pay the bill. Their billing system appears to be very messy. Please be warned.

Gloria, the hygienist, was outstanding—extremely attentive and thorough in addressing all my concerns. She explained everything clearly, which put me at ease. I initially went in for a consultation about LANAP, but after a thorough evaluation, I was told I didn’t need the procedure, which was a relief. I was also worried about gum recession, but the doctor took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure I understood my situation and next steps. Overall, the team was professional, honest, and very knowledgeable. I’m glad I chose them and would definitely recommend them to others.

Rick Weber: I neededa bunch of dental work. Thought Id try them with a basic cleaning to start. The cleaning was good but the Dr wasnt in so I had to come back 2 days later. The Dr talked really fast and pushed all cosmetic surgery. The Dr also asked when was my last cleaning????? Seriously did you even read my file???? They said they would put a plan together and call me. One month later, Im still waiting for that call. I guess I wasnt worth being a client since all I wanted was regular dental work.

Kira Hazan: Ive been their patient for about 15 years. My hygienist is Stella. She is absolutely great taking care of my gums and teeth for so many years. And my daughter also goes to her and Dr. Newman. Dr. Newman is amazing, gentle, experienced, and with a great sence of humor. I cant imagine going anywhere else. Thats why after I moved 60 miles away from Manhattan, I still go to them! Very grateful for what they do!!!!! And Ashley at the front desk is the face of the office, she greets you with a smile, she knows you by name. She always tries to accommodate you. She is very professional and respectful! If all people who do customer service were half like her, the world would be a much better place!!!

I love the fact that all the paperwork and insurance are checked and finished online before my appointment, so I dont have to fill out anything at my reservation. Hygienist, Angela was super professional and detailed in cleaning. She put Vaseline on my lips twice when it was dry during the cleaning process, which I never seen anywhere else. Definitely recommend to do cleaning.

michelle: agree with a review from a year ago talking about scare tactics. Switched to this office and the dentist said I needed three fillings when I’ve never had a cavity in years. Did one of them, got charged an insane amount, trusted my gut and didn’t go back for the rest. Went to a new dentist and they said those procedures were unnecessary. Don’t fall for their tactics and always get a second opinion. Or just don’t waste your time going here. i actually went to the appointment for the second fill in, after taking time to go to the office they then told me my insurance maximum was filled and I had to pay over $1000 out of pocket that day. After I had already made the time to travel to the office. Would’ve been nice to know this before coming. Trusted my gut and just walked out. Don’t let them pressure you and make sure your doctors are transparent.

Val Day: Very nice office with kind and caring staff. I am over 60 and have had a lot of dental work- many mediocre ill fitting, short lasting yet expensive restorations. Finally did my homework and got a second opinion from a great specialist after an expensive bridge failed (only 4 years old). He recommended two other specialists - one was doctor Raimondi who made a new crown. It was a revelation to have restoration that fit like it belonged in my mouth. Raimondi is the Rembrandt of restoration work! No more one stop shops for me. He is honest and a genuinely nice person. So glad to have found him.
