4 /5 Manda Jane: Always so beautiful here. Lots of geese, so lots of geese poop but still a great little loop to walk or run. The playground is definitely out of order right now. They have rides and mini golf in the summer. Great place to take kids.

I was surprised to see a splash pad there now. I didnt know they built one there, so well be bringing our suits the next time we go.

5 /5 Penny Hall: Eldridge is well-maintained, and constant improvement is being made. Theres a Frisbee golf course, a cute mini golf course, a childrens train ride, several amusement park rides, the beautiful carousel, a nice splash pad, summer entertainment and concessions, and of course the lake. This park is excellent! I love walking my dog here!

National Soaring Museum - Elmira

Theresa St. John: Wonderful museum highlighting the history of soaring. I have more images, and will add them as I find them. Docent was very knowlegeable, especially with the WWII soaring and females who became important figures in the industry. Nice gift shop with books and other items to purchase while there. I thought it was a very interesting place to visit.

Harris Hill Amusement Park - Elmira

Darrick Dominick: Hours posted last Sunday where open until 8pm. We took our granddaughter to play putt putt and we got there at 1pm only to find them closed. They had no electricity and had to shut down at 10am. As to no fault of theirs we should have called ahead. The other times we have been there since I was a youngster, its great family fun. Go carts, kids amusement rides, driving range, batting cage, and a free 3 hole golf course.

One of the highlights is the Brand Park Summer Concert Series, which brings the park to life every Sunday during the summer. The Brand Park Beautification Committee and local businesses sponsor these concerts, adding a lively and community-focused vibe. The park has a rich history, dating back to a donation of land in 1901 by John Brand Jr. Over the years, dedicated individuals and groups like the Maple Avenue Task Force and the Brand Park Beautification Committee have worked hard to maintain and improve the park, adding features like a brick path, pathway lanterns, and a handicap-accessible pavilion. Although the pool is currently slated for demolition with plans to build a splash pad, theres hope that a Downtown Revitalization Initiative application might lead to even grander improvements.

Maria Z: Very spacious and nicely maintained park. Hosts a splash pad and BBQ grills. Lots of picnic benches as well There’s also shaded areas for you to enjoy your picnic. Highly recommend visiting with young children as the splash pad is fabulous and fun! You can easily spend 1-2 hours here.

KC Travel: I visited in October, so it was not very busy at all. I went for a short, quiet walk down to the water. It was very peaceful. It was lovely just sitting there, looking at the beautiful colors on the trees & out across Lake Champlain. I left some Kindness Rocks at a couple of the trail heads and on a few of the MANY picnic tables available for use. I had a limited amount of time to spend at the park. I was unable to take advantage of the many trails, so I could not speak about those. Hopefully, if I have the opportunity to visit again, I will have the time to explore.
