4 /5 Tenphel Gyalpon: Nice park overall with some nice trails. It has plenty of parking and it has a lot of soccer fields and baseball, and basketball. There’s also many trails which you can also walk your dog and it’s really peaceful and quiet but all the trails they’re not many people and it’s really like Woody area. It could have better facilities though.

3 /5 G K: It was ok if you like local trails. On one side it’s aligned by residential houses where their yard opens onto the path. It was cold and windy after a rainy day and that contributed to a less then memorable experience. We ended up turning back after mid way. With no posted signs to guide you to the waterfall, we missed it.

5 /5 Rooltz Defonce: Very nice peaceful ambiance. I definitely go there to enjoy the trail and get a nice hike and definitely my favourite place is the waterfall where I just go and meditate and enjoy the quiet and beauty of nature itself. This is my solo go to place to hike.

Michelle (Michelle Cora): I dont know why someone put up a huge cross, Well 2, but the huge one is gone .it looks lifey a fresh grave. It makes a tranquil beautiful place feel like youre at a cemetery. No pictures of the grave site The eclipse was amazing. Great place to watch. I see a lot of people fishing, the beach is lovely.

Old Iron Springs - Ballston Spa

Ryan Mazierski: The Old Iron Springs is a nice historic and recreational spot in Ballston Spa, NY. Here you can view the historic spring, some nice gardens, relax, and enjoy a fitness trail. There is also a stage for musical performances. The Jim Tedisco fitness trail is a .5 mile long. It is a mostly flat and easy trail to walk. You get nice views of the woods and of the city of Ballston Spa. From the Iron Springs the trail will end on Prospect Street, near the Factory restaurant. Check this nice little spot out, youll find it enjoyable.

Mike Santos: Small, but very cool. The Corvette display they have going on right now was awesome. Wouldnt recommend for small children.

laura bellinger: What a wonderful place! We hiked with llamas Maggie and Jade. Our hosts were kind, knowledgeable, and generous. The cats zipped around and we visited with the horses. Totally recommend.

Waterfront Park - Saratoga Springs

Jeff Dur: This is a nice park with beautiful lake view. You will enjoy the view and you will find picnic tables around to rest or have a quick picnic. I didnt see grills there so I dont think this is an option if you are considering that. There is a small lake beach where I saw kids enjoying water with adult supervision, nice entry for kayak and paddles. Overall good experience for family.

Woods Hollow Nature Preserve - Ballston Spa

Matthew Jones: A nice, small network of trails with a little bit of elevation gain, but not enough to make much of a difference between these trails and completely flat trails. There are multiple interesting landmarks throughout the trails, including a reservoir, lupine fields (an essential plant for the survival of the critically imperiled karner blue butterfly endemic to the Northeast and Great Lakes), a ravine, and others. The trails are wide and generally well-maintained, however, the trail markers could be better. Instead of using plastic reflective markers, they use colored spray paint on the trees. This makes the trail markers easy to miss, although getting lost in these woods isn’t much of a worry given that walking a few minutes in any direction will bring you to a road. There are some wooden signs at certain forks in the trail, but the signs are a bit dilapidated and hard to read.
