I told her what issues I had with my previous haircuts, and she was great at listening and understood the assignment. She was very detailed oriented and made all the right cuts. Most stylists want to cut too much off, but she did the perfect amount. The salon is lovely too, with friendly a front desk, and shampoo assistants. I highly recommended!!

Living Room Hair Salon - New York Julia Megibow Dolson: I will try to make this review short and sweet as I know long one can be daunting, but let me tell you that I feel like I have FINALLY found my new salon and stylist in the Upper East Side. As we all know, especially those of us that color our hair, finding a good salon and a good stylist can be quite a journey. I had been to several other salons in the neighborhood and some I would stay at for a few months, but then something would happen that would cause me to look elsewhere.
I came in on a Sunday and Giuseppe was my stylist. I said to him only a few simple things - half head of highlights and blended and he went to work. i dont know how he did it or if he is a psychic, but it was like he read my mind and gave me exactly what I wanted and I AM THRILLED. I feel like only really good and amazing stylists can take a little information and make it amazing.
He also has such a strong passion for hair coloring and the art of it. He thoroughly enjoys his work and making people happy by giving them exactly what they want and you can tell as it was very much reflected in his work and personality.
Also the Living room hair salon is HUGE and just beautiful! I dont think I have been to a salon that clean, organized and spacious since I lived in California!
Seriously - if you want a wonderful experience with wonderful stylists - look no further as The Living Room Hair Salon is IT.

Julian did my blowout and style for a recent black tie event and the results were fabulous! He did it in record time and I got compliments all night.
