1 /5 Mikayla Carroll: I wanted to come on here and leave a positive review but I’m really disappointed with the quality of service I received at this salon. First, I will say that there was hardly any communication or talking during the 2 hour service which was kind of frustrating to start. The girl working on my service barely talked at all even when trying to spark a conversation and all other employees were talking with their clients. But more importantly I was there on Friday, 02/07, and spent $140, including tip, expecting a long-lasting manicure. It has only been four days, and my gel polish is already peeling off in whole pieces.
I don’t do anything that would cause this— I work from home and spend most of my time typing on a keyboard, so there’s no reason for the gel to be lifting from the cuticle and peeling off completely after just a few days. This is not normal for a gel manicure, and it’s frustrating to have wasted that much money on something that didn’t even last a week.
I had hopes for this salon as it was my first time and it was booked by my BF as a surprise spa day for me, but based on my experience, I can’t say I’d return or recommend it. If I’m paying premium prices, I would expect premium results or at least a manicure to last a week at the minimum.
