Brianna Best: From check in to picking up our daughters medication was 30 minutes. I cannot say enough good things about the check in staff, Jessica the RN, and NP Nicholas Acierno. Our toddler has a fear of anything medical and they were all so patient.
Its hard having a sick kid and having great/understanding staff makes all the difference on a holiday weekend. Each and every time we are blown away with how great your urgent care staff are but today really stood out to us. Thanks again for helping our peanut feel better!
Kiersten Merrill: I was recently a patient in five north at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, New York, and had the pleasure of having Patrick K as a nurse . He was the most attentive, compassionate, understanding, nurse that I’ve had in my entire stay. It’s always a strange feeling when you’re away from your family and your home, but Patrick made sure that I was at ease, that all my needs were taken care of, and that I was comfortable enough to actually get some sleep! I was so grateful to have the experience of his excellent care !
Tara Mayes: If I could give 0 stars, I would. Brought my daughter here today for an ear infection around noon. Called at 1:40 because the antibiotic still had not been called in. They assured me Dr. Raza was still seeing patients but it would be sent when he was finished at 2. It was never sent. Called again at 2:20 and they were closed of course, the oncall was useless as they only have a “triage” nurse who told us to go to urgent care or ED, that there wasn’t a provider on call. Umm, isn’t this the point of me going here? So you mean to tell me you’re going to bill our insurance for useless care that I have to follow up somewhere else for? Cannot wait to call them first thing Monday morning when they open to give them a piece of my mind.
Tom Contino: This hospital needs to make some major changes. I waited hours and ended up just leaving because it was clear I would never have been seen. There were people I was talking to in the waiting room who had been there for 7 plus hours. One guy was having symptoms of a heart attack and they hadn’t even had a doctor look at him. Another person arrived by ambulance and was brought out to the waiting room. Another person had been there the entire day after being sent from their doctor’s office for an emergency MRI and had waited over 7 hours without anyone looking at them. This is unacceptable. People need to be able to get care within a reasonable amount of time. And leaving people out in the waiting room with major issues is just cruel. The staff had no accountability and refused to give anyone an estimation for wait time, or a reason why they hadn’t been seen yet. Something needs to be done about this place. It’s completely unacceptable to treat human beings like that.
