I cannot recommend her more highly as my visit to her came on the heels of seeing two other establishments for help with periodontal disease (plus). One was even a dental school, yet neither could be bothered to give me the "straight scoop" regarding the seriousness of my issue or connect the vital fact that the situation in my mouth is indicative of a systemic metabolic problem that desperately needs addressed. Dr. McCarthys attention to detail is a rarity in these sad times of centralized "Rockefeller Medicine" and harkens back to the days when medical professionals KNEW INTUITIVELY we are whole beings and isolating my mouth from the context of my body would be preposterous! Yet, that is what most dentists do. I am so grateful to have found Dr. McCarthy, a biologic dentist who understands that the interconnectedness of our entire system has to be the first premise on which all the rest of a diagnosis is built. If you found this post, Im certain you know what I mean and am also confident you will be as happy as I am to have found her.
