The staff is indescribable. You go anywhere else on this island and no staff will or could ever compare to the girls at blown. No cattiness like most salons, you walk in and feel welcomed instantly. Such a warm environment. As far as prices go, if you’re looking for a place to go that won’t break your pocket, this is the place to go. Prices are sky high now a days especially at hair salons and I can’t believe how reasonable every service is at blown. I’ve been to every stylist since coming here. Brianna, melissa, Brittany, Jess and ash are all so enjoyable to be around. The manager is always so kind and greets me and always offers me coffee. Whenever I sit in any of their chairs I almost feel like I’m over a friends house because that’s how comfortable cozy and fun it is there. All in all a GREAT spot to have any kind of hair or makeup service, not to mention they’re even open on Mondays! So great 10/10 highly recommend.
Salon Sogno Staten Island - Staten Island sabahat hina: I had knots and matted hair no salon would help me this salon i went urgent walk in and they unmatted unknotted all my hairs shampoo conditioning and made my hair best hairs ever i was really happy with their services workers were amazing i would reccommend this salon anyone who need get work done i was so nervous they made me so comfortable and did amazing work i love them , this is salon i will always come to for anything thank u for ur work u did u impressed me so much
The Secret Garden Salon & Spa | Staten Island, NY - Staten Island Loriann Maresca: I brought a family member who let her hair get so matted, she was planning on shaving it off because it was so bad. ( Her hair was down to her butt before the matting) But someone recommended the secret garden spa and said they could save it. The process took 3 days and multiple hands. Her hair is flawless now. Their hard work, patience, and dedication made this possible and I am so thankful for the amazing staff that helped her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
Visage Hair Studio - Staten Island Christine DiPadova: I have been a client of Visage for 15 years. Michael is my personal hairstylist and my two daughters are clients of Jackie and Jayme. We have used most of the many services offered at this upscale salon and are always completely satisfied! Michael and his team of hairstylists are experienced professionals with a welcoming and warm approach! The dedication and attention given to each client surpasses all other salons! Hair Essentials - Staten Island Bella: My first time at this salon and i had a wonderful experience. Dee is an absolute sweetheart and gave me a different haircut than what i had in mind. I am so loving what she came up with and she styled me up great for my date. I highly recommend!
Newyork Newyork Salon - Staten Island Frank Couso: My daughter got her haircut here and it turned out great! The hairdresser was extremely nice, she made my 4 year old feel very comfortable while she was cutting her hair. The final product was absolutely stunning, the stylist made her look like a little model

Unisex Salon - Staten Island mimi: DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could rate this salon I would give it a -1000000. This was the worst hair experience of my entire life. The people that work at this salon are incredibly horrible at their jobs. I doubt they have any sort of training in the slightest. I had gone to get a wash and blowout. To start this disastrous appointment, the woman who washed my hair was so rough on my head and did not condition my hair at all. I can’t comprehend how you can screw up washing hair but she sure as hell found a way. After a painful washing experience I was sat in a salon chair with a different woman. She takes the cake for worst hairdresser I’ve ever seen. She sprayed my wet, unbrushed hair with hairspray and proceeded to go straight into blow drying my hair. No brushing it or anything. I lost half of my head of hair at this appointment I wish to god I was joking. This woman met resistance in my hair and continued to run the brush, painfully, through my hair. I said ow multiple times and she ignored me. I am absolutely baffled at how she even keeps her job with these methods. After the worst blowout in history, my hair was so fried and crunchy I couldn’t help but cry. I had an event to go to and I’ve never felt worse. It was so traumatic I just want to prevent another person from experiencing this. I am literally not a Karen and I’ve never in my life written a review like this but I need to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I must repeat again do not under any circumstances, if you value your hair at all, go here.
Hair Sanctuary Studio - Staten Island Christine Hrinda: Recently went here for the first time for a haircut with Melissa, she was great & very sweet. She took the time to listen to what I wanted which was length cut & evened out with some layers & thickened my bangs which I like. Price is reasonable. They offered refreshments which was also nice, in a simple & warm atmosphere. I will definitely be returning again, very pleased.
In The Mixx - Staten Island Karlee: The small girl with the black/brown hair washed my hair beautifully, she was so nice and welcoming!
