The prices for the salon side are competing but the pedicure seemed a little on the expensive side. Of course, it was also very luxurious. A ton of products are available for sale but I’ve never felt pressured. I tried a lot of salons in Ithaca before going to Satori—it’s the only one that has a great combination of quality, staff, and ambiance.

When you go in for your appointment, you’re offered a refreshing beverage and I can only say that from what I’ve observed, that every stylist is prompt and friendly as well! The atmosphere is comfortable, and relaxed. The attention clients are treated to is worth every dollar!

Gordon Beck: I asked for a high skin fade on the sides and back but the barber basically just shaved my head up half way and left a hard line between the skin and hair, no fade. After seeing this I asked him to blend it in but he just trimmed above it with scissors and left the line. I had seen other reviews warning people not to ask for fades here, but i assumed that after charging 50 dollars a cut it would be rediculous for the barber not to know how to make a fade. I guess I was wrong.

Lauren Ryan Hamacher: Rose of Transcend Salon is absolutely incredible, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Ithaca area! I came in looking to get my hair color fixed from another local hairstylist (not associated with Transcend Salon) as my highlights were far too bright, and showing up different colors in different areas of my hair. Rose took the time to truly understand what I wanted with my color, and really thought through the best solution before working. Seeing my new hair color at the end of my appointment, I knew I would become a client of hers permanently! She did an excellent job, it was exactly what I wanted. She also gave me a cute little bang trim! Aside from her hair skills, Rose is a delightful person and you will love chatting with her as you get your hair done!
