Judy Moore: Beautiful river side park. Perfect for anyone wanting to w joy beautiful grounds. There are 4 pavilions. We had the largest for a wedding reception. Complete with a kitchen, sink, refrigerator and counter space, no stove. Very clean and spacious. It was nice to have full handicap bathrooms right off the main pavilion. They were very clean and stocked. The ground’s keepers were amazing and were working the whole time evening emptying the trash for us. I used to go here as kid and will be going back. What a treasure this place is.

R C: I parked on Morey Hill Rd I walked for about two and a half hours. Through the quarries and over the broken shatters of bluestone. Lots of wintergreen berries! Highly recommend finding this little treasure for a nice and geologically fascinating wander

Mr Spiffy: Great area for views and walking alone, as a couple or with family. There is a bike trail but it is paved with gravel and not tarmac so you wont get a smooth ride compared to the Hudson bike trails. However the scenery, paths and overall history of that area is worth a visit for sure

Janet Bunnell: Great little hike with Buddy (an 11 year old dachshund) Just enough challenge without being too challenging or too rocky. Well marked trails, though still ended up getting out on the wrong side of the park. 2.6 miles , 1hr 45 minutes. Long enough to exhaust the dog so i can leave him alone tonight and take in a movie without guilt.
