river salon - Brooklyn Lilly Slezak: Cannot recommend L and her services enough!!!! She is a true professional and worked some real magic on me recently. She gave me an amazing new look with k-tip extensions to build up lost volume due to thinning hair. She was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The extensions blend seamlessly with my natural hair, giving me a major confidence boost. If you are considering extensions to give your hair density and volume, do not hesitate to reach out to her. Also, I have many friends who have gotten haircuts with L that grow out beautifully — she is so good at what she does and has an amazing sense of what is cool and fresh, while also considering what will work for YOU. YourHairsBestFriend - Brooklyn Adriana Foreman: Chereen is awesome! She’s super friendly, very responsive, and a great hair stylist. I’ve gone to her a few times to trim my curly hair and she did a good job at not cutting too much off and making sure I kept my length. Recently I decided to do a big chop and she was great at explaining how my hair would differ from the inspiration pictures I had and made sure I was comfortable and sure about how much to chop off throughout the process. I love my cut and am so glad I went to her. Highly recommend.

Style 1 Hair Salon - Brooklyn Happy Fruit: I came here because its closer and i didnt have to travel to Manhattan to the one i used to go.
The young girl who washed my hair wasnt professional and did a random job. She splashed water all over my face. It was uncomfortable.
This guy, Tony, whos one of the owners, cut my hair. He didnt cut as what i requested and said it wont fit me. Another barber from Manhattan cut the way i requested, and i loved it. I was ok with Tonys way as long as its better. He trimed my front layer way too short when i told him not to. I wasnt able to tight it up nit even after 3 months later. He pulled my hair hard while cutting it. It hurts. I have a lot of hair, and he complained about it the whole time. I didnt have a great experience here. It was cheaper than where i used to go but it wasnt that cheap here.
City Glam - Brooklyn Assen C: Review for Inna – Unprofessional and Overbooked
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Inna. The wait time was unbelievable—I arrived at 10 AM and wasn’t attended to until 10:40 AM. My highlights, which should have been a straightforward process, dragged on from 10 AM to 3 PM because she was juggling four other clients at the same time. She would work on me for a few minutes, disappear to another client, and then return whenever she found the time.
I specifically told her not to make me too blonde and asked for a more subtle result. She completely ignored my request, and I ended up just as blonde as before—because she forgot! When I pointed this out, instead of acknowledging the mistake, she became defensive, aggressive, and started screaming at me, insisting she did a great job.
I understand handling multiple clients is stressful, but taking on five clients at once for highlights and extensions is beyond unreasonable. To top it all off, she charged me $300 for a service I did NOT ask for. Her attitude was basically, “Give me your money and go.”
This level of service is unacceptable. If you want a stylist who actually listens, respects your time, and values your satisfaction—look elsewhere!
Total Effex Salon - Lowville Hannah Shattuck: Lori and Kim are both so amazing! Their work is phenomenal theyre both so kind and real. My favorite salon in all of Lewis County.
Hair Designz - Lowville marsaili knapp: I cant recommend Alyssa highly enough for wedding hair styling! She did an incredible job on my wedding day, making me feel like an absolute princess. Alyssas attention to detail and her ability to create the perfect hairstyle that complemented my dress and overall look was outstanding. She listened to my ideas and brought them to life with such skill and creativity while also helping perfect my bridesmaids with their hair and touchups. Alyssas professionalism and calm demeanor made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. Thank you, Alyssa, for making my special day even more perfect!
Mane Attraction - Lowville Kelley Sussman: No customer service at all , we arrived early for our haircut appointments me and my 85 year old Mom who is in a wheelchair, there was only one stylist working she looked up for the person she was working on and never said a word just went back to cutting her hair , we stood in the waiting area and 2 other worker came in walked right past us got hair dye from the back look right at us said nothing and left the salon then the hairwasher walked past us on her cell phone and she said nothing the stylist only acknowledge us after she walked past us to answer the phone and all she said was DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT I told her yes 1pm & 1:30pm ( it was 1:10 when she asked) I will be right with you she then finished the womans hair and I thought okay just a little late but no she then took the woman into a different room to wax her eyebrows it was now 1:20 pm that is when me and my mom left,we will NEVER go here ever again. I would give no stars if I could.
