Mary Louise DuBose Went in for my first visit thinking it would be as seamless as the ads claim- it was the opposite. They moved me to three separate rooms because the xray machines were broken. Ultimately did not end up receiving X-rays because of this and have to come back next week. To be clear, I don’t blame the team for this. Everyone was really nice and apologetic and I understand that tech issues happen, but it was quite frustrating after the 3rd room relocate. If equipment isn’t working I’d rather be rescheduled than wasting over an hour of my life and having to return again.

Margaret Liu Clinton DO NOT visit any Tend office. Everyone working there is lovely and competent, but if you are seeking actual medical care - visit a traditional dental practice. This review could easily apply to many medical start-ups that offer quick initial appointments, but have segmented their operations in such a way (to optimize profit) that any sort of follow-up becomes convoluted, if not to say impossible. The initial exam interface is great. The people on staff are great. Heres where things fall apart - I was diagnosed with an infection, told that I would receive a Rx for antibiotics, but the practice never called in the prescription. I emailed the practice, I emailed the doctor. No responses. I called two days in a row - after calling the pharmacy repeatedly - and the call center - also friendly, couldnt really help. I was told that the doctor was out and the other that was meant to call in the script - didnt. When this company claims to: "to prioritize your safety, health and comfort" - they dont. Each person on the team might try to do so - but the weakest link is a company that cant connect the providers care to the patient, unfortunately.

Lisa Yu This place is a complete scam. They push unnecessary treatments on you and falsely claim that your insurance will cover them. I went there for two years, and every visit, they tried to upsell me on treatments I didn’t need. Last time, they did the same—assuring me my insurance would cover it—only for me to find out later that it wasn’t covered, leaving me to pay out of pocket. I called multiple times, but no one cared that their staff is misleading and scamming patients. I have decided to file a misconduct complaint to NY department of health. I have noticed upselling was mentioned in other reviews. I encourage everyone else who has similar experience to file a complaint against them. In addition to upselling, the whole place feels impersonal and inauthentic. On top of that, their teeth cleaning is among the worst I’ve experienced. Avoid this place at all costs.

Linda Lieberman This a wonderful dental office, both aesthetically and professionally . Dr. Katz was very informative and skilled. He saved me a lot of money as a second opinion for not removing my crowns. I wasnt even charged a consultation fee. Where do you find that? All of the staff are extremely accommodating and very polite. I have a lot of experience with dental offices and I highly recommend this one

Mariia Mironenko It was my first time at LuxDen, and I felt really well taken care of. The front desk staff were kind and patient, and the doctor explained everything clearly during my consultation. I also had a cleaning — the hygienist was gentle and took her time. My teeth feel amazing! The clinic is clean and calm, and I left feeling confident and informed. Thank you so much!

When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and assisted by reception. The medical staff was welcoming and professional. I received a comprehensive examination and consultation. I am 100% satisfied.

Ruth Morales The staff is so nice and professional. Never a long wait when I have an appointment. You get a reminder call and text to remind you of the appointment. Dr. Stanislaus and hygienist Jonathan rectified some things that a previous dentist did not know how to fix. Grateful to have them take care of my dental needs. I recommended them 100%.

Malone Yahir Just had my regular cleaning and exam here and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The hygienist was gentle and thorough, and I love that they use low-radiation digital X-rays. Makes me feel like they really care about my health, not just my teeth.

Janine McGrath As a first time patient, I was very pleasantly surprised to see a fully renovated office with top-of-the-line equipment. The front desk staff were very warm and accommodating. All the other professionals who engaged with me were kind and patient and wanted to make sure I was very comfortable. I loved my Dentist! He made some great recommendations and took the time to explain rather complex dental issues so that I really understood what his recommendations were. Very happy!!

Lowery Abram I had to get some emergency dental work done and Carroll Gardens Dental Associates really came through. The team made me feel super comfortable, and Dr. Rosen explained everything clearly. I ended up needing a crown and I was surprised at how painless the whole process was!

Melony Ruiz This dentist office is top tier when it comes to treatment planning and dental advise. The staff are all professional and most of all very welcoming. I didnt feel forced or obligated to anything, it was a friendly vibe, especially their manager. She knew her stuff and what her providers specialize in. They offer treatment that can be done in one visit, compared to all the offices i went too. Those types of treatment take 3 to 4 visits. I was extremely impressed with all their high tech technology as well. definitely a 10 out of 10.

Victoria Cuomo This is such a great dental practice! Everyone who works here is so happy, helpful, and kind- from the front desk to the dentists and hygienists. For a second, when I thought my dental insurance had lapsed, they worked with me discount some procedures in the interim so that it could be affordable for me. I am so grateful for their patience and kindness as it makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience for all!

Sandra Chung Ive had consistently frustrating experiences with this dental office. They frequently try to upsell unnecessary products like MI paste or other random items, which always feels uncomfortable and pushy. Last year, I was told I needed two crowns. I trusted their recommendation, but unfortunately, my insurance disagreed—stating the procedures weren’t medically necessary. Despite having excellent dental insurance, I ended up paying over $1,000 out of pocket annually. I asked the office to submit an appeal, which they did, and it was denied with a request for more information. I followed up and was told a second appeal would be submitted. Months went by with no word from my insurance, and when I checked in with the office again, they told me it wasn’t their responsibility to handle appeals and that I should do it myself. How exactly am I supposed to appeal when the insurance is asking for clinical documentation to prove necessity—something only the dentist can provide? Clearly, they never submitted the second appeal and didn’t want to admit it. Only after pushing back did they begrudgingly agree to file it. I’ve never had to fight so hard for basic patient support, nor been met with such attitude. Because of this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Definitely I will recommend this office for dental services to anyone.

Rosa Vargas-Suriel Initially I went to have a cleaning. Everyone was really nice but I feel that the place was more interested in getting my money not what my insurance would pay. I was called into my office about what I would need. A cap needed to be changed, they only use one type of material which is more expensive than gold. I said that would think about it. An appointment was made to have a filling replaced but the cleaning never happened. They didnt even scheduled me for a cleaning and havent even follow up. I decided not to return and find myself another dentist. All the staff were nice including the dentist that I interacted with but the place is out to get your money not what the insurance pays.

Christine Judge I recently became a patient of Dr. Lenny’s and am so glad to have made the switch! I have childhood trauma from dental work, and Dr. Lenny and his amazing assistant Lola made what could have been a particularly difficult procedure (partial crown) relaxed and seamless. Dr. Lenny utilizes modern technology and shows you photos (and not just x-rays) of your teeth so you can better understand exactly what is happening in your mouth (which was a new feature I had not previously had at my prior dentist). Dr. Lenny has a great bedside manner and consistently checks in to make sure that you’re comfortable. Lola was present throughout the procedure and I felt rest-assured knowing she was there watching over me. The receptionist is very kind and friendly! Everyone at Boerum Hill Dental are awesome! Highly recommended!

Kate Sitnikova I finally found everything I needed at Park Slope Dentistry Seventh Avenue - they do regular dentistry, periodontics (even gum grafting!), and orthodontics all in one place! The doctors and staff are both professional and super friendly. They went over my treatment plan, checked my insurance, and set up my first appointment. They even did free 3D scanning, which most places charge extra for. I highly recommend Park Slope Dentistry to my neighbors and anyone looking for complete dental care in one spot.

Olivia Hanson I cannot express more how amazing everyone at this practice is! I cracked my tooth on a Saturday and my normal dentist wasn’t open, so I panicked calling around for anyone who could help. Not only was Park Slope Dentistry able to fit me in, they helped repair the tooth with such kindness. I’m not a fan of the dentist but Dr. Ari rocked at making me feel comfortable each step of the way. This local spot is incredible and I am so grateful!

Stacy Duran Prior to visiting this dentistry, I hadn’t seen an oral specialist in roughly 2 years due to personal, painful and poor experiences in my past relationships with other dentists. From the start, I felt welcomed and was seen quickly. As a new patient, I’d say the on boarding process was very quick. Upon being sat on my chair, my anxiety was through the roof! However, I was gently greeted by a woman/nurse, I believe her name was Angelica (sorry if not!) she was very polite, knowledgeable, patient and made sure I was comfortable, all my questions were answered, needs were met and she didn’t make me feel uncomfortable nor awkward. The cleaning was the best I’ve had since I was a child, I’m now 27 years old. She was so gentle and checked in with me throughout the entire process and ensured I understood what was being done and the importance of my treatment. The doctor (forgot his name) was also sweet, welcoming. Thank you to all the staff, I’ll most certainly be returning!

Coventry Ashley (AshCov Photography) I have dental anxiety to the max and the staff here made me feel comfortable and safe. The hygienist communicated everything she was doing, and explained why avoiding the dentist because of fear is counterproductive- without making me feel ashamed or embarrassed. The doctor didnt try and get me in for unnecessary procedures like every other dentist Ive ever been to. 10/10 will continue to visit regularly from now on.

Diane Tosh Im embarrassed to admit to how nervous I am about going to the dentist. But I needed emergency work done today which made me extra nervous. The whole staff at Park North were lovely. Dr. Richard was wonderful and technically wonderful as well. She did a great job repairing a tooth that had broken in half a week ago. I appreciate all that was done to make me feel more comfortable - and Ive actually made my next appointment for a comprehensive exam!

Dr. Tontat was so patient and made my daughter’s first visit to the dentist a positive one. I highly recommend this office and everyone working here.

Judy Kamilar I just had a tooth bonded today by Dr. Ishakis at the Brooklyn Midtown Dental Office and he worked miracles! I can’t see or feel the difference between my tooth and the bonding. Last one I had it took several visits to get it to feel right. He did it in one shot and kept checking that it felt right. Dr. Ishakis is a caring, warm and skilled professional who takes his time to make you feel comfortable in his very capable hands. You can’t get better than this. And you can’t get a better hygienist than Janice. She is extremely thorough doing several different throat, neck, tongue and mouth checks while giving me the best cleaning ever! She pointed out and explained what these bumps were in my mouth that I didn’t know about. A true professional with a heart of gold. His front staff is friendly, efficient and easy to work with. I usually don’t write reviews but I felt it might help someone who needs a great dentist since they’re so hard to find.

Arturo P Jaramillo Z. I had one of the worst experiences at this dental office. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I waited over two hours before being seen. What’s the point of setting an appointment if they’re incapable of managing their schedule? When I finally got into the chair, things only got worse. The dentist rushed through the procedure, and it was clear that attention to detail was not a priority. Unfortunately, this led to a mistake in the dental work—I had to visit another dentist shortly afterward to have it corrected. The new dentist informed me that the issue could have easily been avoided with proper care and technique. What made it even more frustrating was the lack of accountability. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, the staff seemed indifferent, treating my concerns as though they were unimportant. If you’re looking for reliable, professional dental care where your time and health are respected, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. This office is not worth the frustration or the risk to your dental health.

Saskia So I was happy to find this location and was willing to travel there which was kind of far. However my insurance did not offer alot of good options so I didnt mind. The cleaning hurt a little. I was happy I left with the doctor not having any issues that needed to be addressed. When I got home I happened to check my mouth and realize a wisdom tooth was visible. I was confused as to why I was not told. I also thought at a certain age you wont get them. So i called and was told that the doctor didnt tell me because it wasnt bothering me. I think this is nonsense and I should have been told for next steps so I was aware. I got a call back today and the staff said the doctor looked at the X-Ray and I would have to see a oral surgeon because eventually they would bother me. I said "they" because that means more than one. So she confirmed there was two. One was visible and one was not. This was unaccepatable. Im not sure if I would be returning based one this experience.

Lauren Leader I love the personalized, thorough care, and holistic approach Dr. Milito and Dr. Chang have taken to not only execute great cleanings but most importantly my TMJ Treatment. I initially came to Dr. Molito with concerns of jaw tension, jaw clicking, tension headaches, and restless sleep…She deeply listened to my concerns and presented a detailed analysis and a TMJ treatment plan. Undergoing a TMJ treatment has completely transformed my life. I’ve been going to this practice for over 2 years and I can say no there is no one better in the business. I couldn’t be happier with my results—highly recommend seeing Dr. Molito and Dr. Chang! Thank you team!!

John Smith My visit for TMJ treatment was quite costly. The doctor took numerous unnecessary images and ultimately referred me to a specialist in Florida, stating that surgery was the only viable treatment and that she was unaware of any suitable specialists in New York. However, this was inaccurate—I later found an excellent specialist at NYU who effectively treated my condition without surgery. All I needed was an MRI to determine the appropriate course of treatment. I am very disappointed with my experience at this practice.
