Trish Lattanzio Allison = Amazing! Been going to her for years and never disappointed. I hired her to do my and my bridesmaids makeup at my wedding and it was OUTSTANDING -- truly flawless. Allison is a knowledgeable and talented esthetician; the best around. Very COVID-conscious and keeps an extremely clean and sanitized spa (even before this pandemic). You must check her out -- any service will do, but the facials are heavenly! Treat yourself today!

Alyse Faith I have to shout out the amazing Allison Beth @ Balance Day Spa in White Plains. I went in today for my pre-wedding facial & my skin is absolutely GLOWING!!! I’ve known Allison for more than 6 years now and she is the consummate professional. Her offices are immaculately clean, she’s super personable, is highly skilled & uses the top of the line organic Eminence line of products (and doesn’t skimp like some places I’ve been to- ahem RR). The difference is HUGE between what you get at the chain spas and the individual service you get at Balance Day Spa. She is truly passionate about her work and it shows. She remembers all my kids names and even asked about my dog! Thank you for everything as always ❤️

They also have a many other services as well. Its a clean and comfortable environment where the spa owner, Allison, doesnt compromise on quality. Highly recommend going here!

Tyler Barrett Kiran is amazing! Was looking for a threader in White Plains and she is literally perfect. My eyebrows come out exactly how I want every time. Kiran also gives advice on how to keep my eyebrows healthy. She’s the best !

I have been looking for a decent threader who can tint in White Plains, NY. Extremely glad I found her, place is clean and atmosphere is peaceful. brittany holmes Went for the first time to Karen and Im so happy! She did my eyebrows perfectly without me having to tell her anything. She was quick, efficient, and had a good hand since I felt nothing for most of it, and even with my more "sensitive" side it wasnt bad! I will definitely continue to go to her in the future, this was very much one of the best experiences Ive had when it comes to threading.

Kristina I was so nervous for my new eyelash application! I saw April. She was very professional and kind. I think I even dozed off during the appt. They have to tape the eyes shut so it feels funny but it doesnt hurt at all. It took about an hour. April was very gentle. I am ✨thrilled✨ with the results. I wanted a very natural look. They look better than I could have expected!! I also got an eyebrow waxing. Quick and easy!

Christina Morgan Con: Poor decorum I purchased a Groupon for my visit and disclosed this during my time of booking. The person who I booked the appointment with did not mention that Groupon is for only Monday and Tuesday. So, i was upset that it wasn’t mentioned at the time of scheduling. It does specify on Groupon, and I did overlook so I continued with my service at regular price. After i was finished. I was chased a block away for a tip. How unpleasant and harassing. Tips are discretionary and not mandatory. If you want a tip, one should do more, go above the job. Maybe the issue is not the client but the owner failing to pay workers appropriately. I don’t know, but I work for my money that is taxed, and I CHOOSE to Tip when the quality and service is ABOVE the original service paid for. If this is a tip based job please state that. Pros: i did like my lash and it did last

Alexa Porras I came here with my friend and did they did an okay job. One of my eyes looks great whereas the other eye has half of the lashes barely curled. I was not mad at the service itself, it was okay and I probably would have gone back if it wasnt for their complete unprofessionalism. There was a misunderstanding with my friend where they added lash tint when thats not what she wanted at all. Instead of trying to correct the issue and come to a common understanding, what Im assuming is the owner argued back and forth with my friend and tried to pull up the surveillance camera video which did not help the situation whatsoever. Completely unprofessional. After this happened, we both did not feel like we wanted to leave a tip based on this bad experience and the owner literally chased us out into the lobby to try to make us give her a tip. I was planning on tipping regardless, but due to the unprofessionalism I witnessed, I decided I did not want to but was basically harassed by the owner chasing us out to the point where I eventually gave her the tip to leave us alone. Would’ve gone back if it wasn’t for this experience.

Jennifer Innabi Were nice until they realized I just wanted my acrylics taken off. Tracy wanted me to get a polish to harden my nails and I said no thank you as I was getting acrylics tomorrow. She immediately said “you know they can take it off for you” referring to my nail salon. I stated I know but three nails fell off and I have to go to work before my appointment. She immediately got up and said someone else will finish it. Eva completed my “manicure” within 3-5 minutes. They knew I was coming in for a manicure, no polish as I called before coming in. She attempted to put the hardening nail polish on me and I said no thank you explaining that I would be putting acrylics on tomorrow and she responded “1 day?” Referring to not having nails on. I still paid $25 and tipped Eva $10 because I was willing to pay full for everything even though I was not getting the full service. They were very surprised and rude for people that received a call explaining exactly what I needed/wanted done. What they failed to realize is that I work very close by and was going to become a regular customer for pedicures. Due to the way they treated me I will never return and will also tell all my colleagues of my negative experience, especially with Tracy. My “thorough” manicure is below.

Maya Niznikiewicz Tracy did my nails today. She was very nice and welcoming. I really like how she did my nails. This was my first time getting acrylics at Kiwi Nail and I was not disappointed. I wish they had a website with all of their services and prices. I feel like that would help a lot. Other than that, I recommend Kiwi and definitely will come back to Tracy.

I am now here and I am not being spoken to because I don’t have an appointment and being rushed for their appointments. I will not make any appointments here or recommend them.

Emma Iredale This has been my go-to nail salon for years! Vivian is amazing and so personable; Even if you’ve been a long time client or walking in for the first time, you will be taken care of! I recommend calling or making an appointment online. You can always walk in but you might need to wait (like most nail salons) as they are a popular spot! I always come in with crazy designs and they never miss! The gold set in my photos was done by Yuki (who pays attention to detail and makes it perfect every time!). I’ve also gotten gel pedicures here and have wonderful experiences every time. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the Mamaroneck/Westchester area!

Lauren Henn I did a gel manicure, chair massage, and lip wax. This is not a fancy place but it’s clean and gets the job done well. The gel manicure was great and better than other places I’ve had where it starts to lift after two weeks.

Lola Ferrara I recently tried out Cindys Nail Salon in Harrison and had the pleasure of working with Maria as my nail tech. I’ve never had my nails done this well before! She took her time with every detail, making sure each finger was perfect. Even for my pedicure, she was a true perfectionist. Danielle Misuriello This place I usually find the workers very friendly but I was not pleased today when I went in for a lip wax. The worker who did my lip she said to me you should have your eyebrows done too, you need it. I found that comment extremely rude and disrespectful. She should not be passing judgment on any customer at all thats horrible customer service in my opinion. They are usually very friendly the workers but I wasnt pleased at all today with the lady who did my lip wax. The lady had short hair and glasses I sadly couldnt get her name I am not going back to this nail place again they just lost a customer.

Keitlyn almazan I recently visited this nail salon for a simple manicure, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with the service. First off, the nail technician seemed to rush through the process. They applied the nail polish but didn’t put on enough coats, which I didnt notice until I left the salon. I had to go back to get another coat, which shouldnt be necessary if the technician knew what they were doing. During the appointment, I also felt a bit uncomfortable. I didnt understand what one of the technicians was saying, and another technician, who was working on someone elses nails, seemed to make fun of me. This was really embarrassing. To make things worse, the nail polish they used was supposed to be long-lasting, but it started coming off way too soon. When I tried to remove it with regular nail polish remover, it wouldnt come off. I ended up having to file down the nail polish, which I dont think is normal at all. The nail polish was being a real pain to come off. It started getting all messy after the appointment, and I thought it was supposed to be dry by then. But nope, I had to file them down to get rid of it. Honestly, that just doesnt seem right, does it? Overall, the service was just okay, but the quality of the manicure was poor. I wont be returning to this salon.

When we were done she gave me her professional opinion about what products I should use on my face going forward. She is passionate about her profession and is dedicated to her clientele. Carolina Ramos I just moved to Harrison and was looking for a place to get my usual Hard Gel manicure (not many places do it). So I walked in and was immediately greeted by all at the establishment. I asked if they provided the service to which a nice gentleman (Jason) replied that they do. I came in with 6 week old hard gel and needed a lot of TLC! I received the BEST service I have ever received in a nail Salon today at Cocoa!!!!!! Staff was super nice, respectful, kind and ATTENTIVE!!!! Jason took his time with my nails and made sure they were perfect! I am so in love with my nails, the service, the cleanliness!!!!! I am even more in love with how close to home it is!!!! They have a rear parking lot as well with a rear entrance so if Halstead Ave is busy no worries they have more than enough parking! Oh and let me not forget the complimentary massage to die for!!!!!!!! Love love love it here

Sharell Lawrence It is always a pleasure to get the Signature Full Set lashes and eyebrow tinting done by the gentle hands of Tandi. There have been a few times I’ve fallen asleep because she’s so soothing. She’s a professional! I like the ease of booking appointments on her website. Even more so I love the ‘gentle reminder’ texts of upcoming appointments. Her studio salon is nicely decorated, comforting and relaxing. She’s skillful at achieving a unique desired look based on my eye shape. I receive tons of compliments when she does my lashes (they look so natural!!). Tandi is the sole reason I vow to remain a loyal (a very happy) client!

Madison Thantu About five years ago I stopped getting my eyebrows done because I always found that I’d be plucking out missed hairs after. After several years of no trimming, I’d decided that they had gotten way too wild. I decided to go on yelp and find a small business to get my eyebrows done at (yay for supporting small business owners!!). That’s how I found Tandi. After getting my eyebrows done by her the first time, I am now a loyal and religious customer. She is so meticulous and thorough, and also I just love getting to chat with her. Since first seeing her several years back, I’ve tried only one other business to get my eyebrows done (out of convenience), and the final product did not compare in the slightest to the work that Tandi does. She’s both so kind and so talented at what she does :)

Kate McCabe I started going to Tandi when she first opened her salon in White Plains. She does an excellent job applying lash extensions. I have been going to Tandi regularly ever since. Her salon is very clean and inviting. I am fair skinned, with red hair. Tandi worked very hard to get the correct combination of shades to achieve a perfect match for my eyes and hair. I have not experienced any discomfort with the application process or allergic reactions. The extensions feel completely natural. Most importantly the lashes last a long time! There is natural shedding of lashes here and there, but nothing excessive. That being said, maintenance is key! If you want to keep long beautiful lashes, they need to be filled in every 2-4 weeks. Tandi is your girl for clean, safe, beautiful lashes!

Lornette Lawrence I use to get great pedicures here. But, my last too visits were a disappointment. My nail polish chipped the next day. Jack, the owner is rude and disrespectful. While I was there he was so rude to young lady, she walked out, cursing. He gave me the worst acrliyic set, they started breaking off the next day and he they were ugly! I would never go back here or recommend them to anyone. They, work with no concern or craftsmanship.

P Chakravorty Tiny little place but does great job. I mean my nails were chipping off due to a bad gel extension removal (from another place) but here I was really happy with the service provided. I wanted to get extensions again so my nails are protected and does not chip off but they suggested I dont but let them file my nails and keep it short with only gel polish, wait for a week and then come back so my nails are strong back again.

Jailene Diaz Omggg… i highly recommend this place for any services you want..! i had done hot stone & it was my first time ever in the place and for this service. i absolutely loved it all the place is beautiful cleaned very high end… they also after registering they give you a hot towel for your hands as a little start. before they call you… The person up front was so friendly and kind ! the person i got my message with also was very friendly and nice i loved it so much… it was soo peaceful and enjoyable. after my message and everything they offer you champagne and many more things as well that you got to choose from! i really recommend this place for a first timer and who ever . oh almost forgot you can also change and wear a comfy robe.!!!

Gonzalez I have been coming to this location since 2018! I love them! They may seem unprofessional because they dont have a receptionist, but they are kind people. They are a small business and they run it in a homely way; there is NOTHING wrong with that. Their work is really good!

Christina Robich The owner did my nails. He was rushing, filed them crooked, didnt clean off white "dust?. Cotton was still stuck on nails. THEN , I am not sure what happened, but the polish never dried. Note that I had to correct him all the way- but in the end had another technician redo the entire manicure. Never going back there again

Melodie Green I was not a regular customer of New Sweet Nails & Spa, but I had gone a few times and loved how they did my nails - specifically their ability to create whatever design you wanted. I wound up getting my nails done there for my wedding day and absolutely loved them! They were very professional and worked diligently to ensure I loved my nails (which I did). I highly recommend this nail salon.
