Jennifer Ottaviani Mary was amazing with my 2 year old son. He usually hates haircuts and most places use scissors only and leaves his hair choppy and uneven. Mary was so kind and patient. My son sat perfectly and was smiling the whole time. She wasn’t afraid to use clippers on his fine, curly hair and his cut came out perfectly faded and styled. Will definitely be back as long as she is there.

Summer Hollister Brought my oldest 2 kiddos in for a cut today! My daughter has never had a hair cut and wanted her first, she absolutely loves it and so does my son! Kathy was very nice and the prices are great! Will definitely be going back!

Kathleen Mcdonnell 7 months ago I got a haircut that I really did not like, so I was looking for a new place to get a haircut that could help me move toward my desired style. . Kathy was very attentive to what I wanted to do with my hair. She looked at the picture I brought and affirmed that the style would work for me. She wanted me to be a part of the process as she explained how I can take steps toward the goal.She made small changes that made a big difference. She gave me tips how to care for my hair. She made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed meeting her and Haley.

Robin Quartly Kathy took time to listen and give me great advice on my challenging hair. Ive received lots of compliments from people on my hair style. I love how easy care and suits my personality. I recommend!

Maeve Roman I have easily gotten the worst hair cut Ive ever had here. I specifically looked up this place in need of a CURLY cut, and I instead have lots inches of my hair, a lopsided trim, and much shorter and bluntly cut bangs. Kathy started cutting my hair before I even got the elastic out of it. She snipped random sections of it here and there, and didnt even ask me how I parted it. She said she wouldnt cut my bangs and cut them FIRST. She spent about 10 measly minutes on my hair, then sat down and tried to talk to me about politics for another 25. She TEXTED my phone number (even though I called her to set up an appointment) and asked me how the cut was, and I told her how horrible and uneven it was, and her defense was that she cuts other peoples hair like mine and they like it. This is NOT how you defend yourself! My curly hair is different than the ladys kinky hair she was talking about. While they most likely have a 4A-4C curl pattern, mine is 3C. If you have curly hair like MINE, do NOT go here! She really means to say hair like HERS!

Kelly Ruff I traveled all the way from Austin Texas to have Lacey do my brows! She is absolutely the BEST! I have received so many compliments on them I cant even count. Lacey gets booked out for months and she was so kind to squeeze in my touch up appointment in between her clients and personal life since I was traveling from so far away. I cannot say enough good things about her, the salon and all of the stylists there! Teddy is a master at extensions and the work I saw her do on other clients was impeccable!!! If I lived closer Id be in her chair all the time! The ambiance is perfection as well and it made me feel at such ease. Such an amazing salon in a small town!! Thank you ladies!!!! Megan Mletzko I was a first time client of Jays and it was my first time at Hello Beautiful. The salon itself is open, clean and the people were super welcoming. I needed a color correction and I am naturally a red head so I knew I needed someone who was experienced and patient so Jay was exactly the person for the task. She was so kind and listened to what I needed. The end result was perfection. The color was even better than expected and I feel like myself again. Jay is incredibly talented and I would recommend her as well as the salon. Great experience overall!

Dianna Burris I have been going to Hello Beautiful for the past 2 years. Teddy has been absolutely wonderful! I started out with hand tied extensions to help improve my thinning hair. Each and every time Ive been in her chair she does amazing work, seriously I often think of her as some sort of hair wizard. Her attention to detail is for sure top notch. I recently decided I wanted to make a pretty big change to my natural brunette hair color. At my latest visit Teddy installed 26inch blonde bombshell wefts and balayaged my natural hair for a seamless blend. She definitely nailed it and I absolutely love it! For further insight on the salon overall. It is very clean and nicely updated. Although I havent personally received any services from the other stylist. Im always greeted nicely upon arrival by all of them. I have witnessed a lot of their work while there. Their clients also always seem very happy with their services.

Sue Larson Hello Beautiful has been my salon for several years and I absolutely love it there!! The atmosphere is very clean, modern, and welcoming. I recently told my stylist, Lacey, that I just want to come there and soak in the peace & ambience even when I dont have an appointment. Everyone is very friendly and Lacey is truly the BEST! She has a heart of gold and makes you feel comfortable throughout your visit; time & time again. Not only is the salon beautiful, she also has the most updated styling tools and knows exactly how to make me BEAUTIFUL! I always leave there feeling brand new and highly recommend her and her salon!!

Alexandra Bailey Had an appointment set, even showed up early. Walked in to be told about the stylist having a dr appointment and she didnt call us to tell us. We waited a half hour past our appointment time and expected time for the stylist to come back. She didnt show up so we just left. Very unprofessional. Felt uncomfortable there anyway, not clean. Made an appointment somewhere else.

Andi Rasmussen The first impression was great. its a cute little shop, and the employee I spoke with seemed nice. She booked me a month out, which was fine, I explained we were taking a trip a few days after the appointment, and my son wanted his hair done before the vacation. I gladly paid the deposit and put my info in her phone. Day of the appointment she texts me and says she made a mistake and didnt book the right amount of time for his apointment and the next day shed do it and it was her last appointment of the day. I know mistakes happen, I had to work, but I got my shift covered so I could take an early lunch and bring him. That next day, I leave work, my sons home waiting for me, and I receive another text right before the appointment saying she has a headache and will have to see us tomorrow. I told her we leave tomorrow night, and she said shell do it early and discount his service. Well, the next day, she ignored me all day until the evening and said she wasnt doing any hair until later that week. She ignored me when I asked for my deposit back. We got back from our trip a week later, and I still gave her the opportunity to do his hair. Her response was only to refund me, and I had to harass her for 2 weeks to get my deposit back. I know there isnt many options for locticians and braiders in this area, but this aint it. Ive also spoken to many others with similar experiences.

Amy Bell I will not be back to Allure, I removed my mask so the stylist could cut around my ears, the owner was very unprofessional about the issue, I was going to put my mask right back on! She went back to my stylist while she was mixing my color and was talking badly about me, yelling she cares if no one else does, talking about me. Again handled it very unprofessional. Not to mention the salon is always filthy. Really, yelling at a patron while the dust is an inch thick on everything, a not so fresh hair ball was floating around the floor and the windows are always dirty. The floor, let’s go back to that! It’s always disgusting, dirty. So if I go back to my stylist I will be getting my hair done in my nice clean home. You can keep your ghetto salon, I’m good.

Lisa Solina I had the worst experience of my life with Natalie...You say you can do blonde. But twice I turned out yellow. Worst hair cute ever. I have never seen such a filthy salon as this place. Never again. I asked for my money back. No way. Health dept needs a walk threw that mess...Good luck!!

Lindsey Moore We had a hair emergency after my little found the scissors! Erin was courteous and understanding . She took it one step at a time , and made sure I was okay with everything before it was done. She did an amazing job !

TJ 12 Im not one to fuss with my hair. I may get my hair cut once or twice a year. When I do get a cut, I always go to Cost Cutters. They do a great job and theyre always friendly. Ill continuing going to them as long as theyre there. If I had one constructive suggestion it would be to have a price break on a simple trim. It takes about 12 minutes to cut my hair. And I have to pay the same amount as other people who get several other services.

Crystal Brehm My daughter is a child who is 21 and after years of having her haircut short with Clippers, she is finally reached an age where she is more comfortable in her skin as a woman now that she lives with her sibling and her mother, she didn’t want her hair cut with Clippers as she had had done in previous years. She’s trying to let her hair grow out to it frame her face and let her hair get longer the woman who Who did her haircut did not listen at all she just wanted to trim, not completely buzz back down to her previous length and this morning she came down and showed me that her hair was four different lengths. The woman tried to cut layers into her hair with scissors also not what she wanted. I have a 14-year-old son who goes there and they never screw up on his hair. He loves it there and they’re really good with them when I told my daughter I wouldn’t have paid for it cause it’s not what you wanted. She said well I didn’t think you wanted me to come home with two different size blade cuts in my head from the clippers then she’s calming her hair out this morning and this trend that they did do each strand of hair that they cut is that different levels. I’m not all happy and neither is she.

Luisa McMullen Alexa did my hair, & I expressed to her the color I wanted & the cut I desired. She seem to understand what I desired with my hair. Ib must say I was very pleased with her work to detail & her pleasant manner which cause me to feel very comfortable. I would recommend Cost Cutters and to ask for Alexa.

Emmaline McCarthy I got my hair trimmed here and I loved it! She didnt trim it too short either, which is usually my concern. Since then, I still go once in a while for an eyebrow wax and I specifically request Erin! So kind, great to talk to, and has patience with my ramblings. All around great customer service from everyone and prices are very reasonable! Never met someone there that I didnt like.

The phone call went like this... Woman answers "Loft". Me excuse me is this the Hair Loft? Yeah thats what I said..oh excuse me I was wondering if I need to make an appointment for 2 haircuts for two young boys. Its only walk in..and hung up on me... I will never ever again call this establishment again.. I called Dougs immediately after she hung up on me..phone call went like this..Hi this is Dougs can I help you.. first of thank you for actually wanting my business. Angela Gleckner Im usually pretty happy with the service here. But today I took my daughter to get a haircut and it was cut much shorter than she wanted. The woman ( I did not get her name) did a poor job washing it, and it is extremely uneven! I mean I dont know how a professional stylist could manage to cut her hair so uneven. Its a disgrace to all hairstylists. I dont even know how this lady got her license. I am extremely unhappy and I will not come here again.

Greg Wheeler Did great in my youngest son however the older ones hair was taken really short and my hair he did it in 5 minutes ended up missing spots that I noticed after a few days so had to trim areas that were missed definitely wasn’t worth the high prices Unfortunately I will be looking for another barber for all 3 of us

I am picky with my hair and decided not to get highlights for a long time because I always hated how they turned out. My fiancé has went to Rick for his haircuts and he says Rick is the absolute best in the area as well! What a wonderful and talented couple.

Wendy G Stacy is amazing, she cut my grandsons hair at age 3 and she made it all about him. He loved all the attention. Stacy has cut my hair many times over the years and I keep going back to her, she is wonderful very caring and attentive to what I want. I have also had my hair colored by her and had many compliments.

The Rev. J. Gary Brinn I found Stacy at Cutting Crew three years ago when I arrived to serve a historic church. I was delighted with her work, and to discover that she also cut the hair of my new friend, the local rabbi. I continue to appreciate the quality of Stacys work. When I called this week to make an appointment with Stacy, the manager, Kristen, set me up for 10:00am on Friday. Since I often come in on Friday (my day off), I thought nothing of it. When I arrived, Stacy was nowhere in sight, and Kristen identified me by name and indicated she would be cutting my hair. It felt very clearly like a bait-and-switch attempt to poach customers. Since I am an elected official in addition to my role as pastor, I am aware that what I do in public matters. I indicated that I would re-schedule when Stacy was available, which we did. I thanked Kristen and left. I dont know if the turn-over and toxicity in the salon is characteristic of the industry, but I do know that if Stacy goes, so will I.

Brandon Ellis This place USED to be great.. The stylist I always booked left due the horrible environment. My husband also tried to go for a walk in appointment recently and was treated like dirt because the one person working (supposedly the “manager”) was overwhelmed and obviously not used to lifting a finger. I highly recommend going anywhere but here!!

Shelby Noffsinger I moved here from the city and will not go anywhere else for my son to get his hair cut, thanks to Stacy. My son is 12 and has autism. Stacy is patient with him, friendly and makes getting his hair cut a fun experience for him. He actually enjoys it now, and its never a fight to get him to go. His hair airways looks great and she asks him clarifying questions as she goes to make sure hes getting what he wants. Im so grateful I found Stacy!!!

Brittany Took my child to get his hair cut in a pinch. First off the owner I believe was so rude. Told the lady what I wanted did not do it, he for one has a bald spot in his head. Worst experience in my life. Never will we ever step foot in that place again.

Bianca Went there years back to get my long, fine brunette hair cut short and lifted to platinum blonde. I heard my stylist (not sure who it was- it was my first & only time going there) whispering to Rosa about how they didn’t have some product that she needed. Rosa told her what she should use instead, and the woman mixed up the formula and applied it to my head. I sat there for ages as they tried to lift my virgin hair to bright blonde. I had gone blonde a couple times before and thought I was used to the process- but then my head started to feel like it was burning. I had experienced a very mild burning toward the end when I last went blonde, so I tried to be patient. Finally, though, the burning was getting bad. REALLY bad. I told my stylist it was burning, and she blew me off, asking me to hang in there a little while longer. After yet another 10-15 minutes, I told my stylist and Rosa flat-out to rinse me off- that it was burning bad and I didn’t care what color it was at. “Just 5 more minutes- can you just do 5 more minutes?” was Rosa’s reply. Finally, they rinsed me off and I WAS platinum blonde. My formerly LONG hair had been cut SHORT- which I was happy with as I had requested that… My hair was blown dry and I paid & left. Within a couple hours though, something felt “off”. I kept trying to run my fingers through my hair, but my scalp hurt and it felt like I had product or something that hadn’t been rinsed out properly. As soon as I got home that night, I went to take a look at my scalp in my bathroom mirror only to find it was COVERED in OOZING BLISTERS. They had given me CHEMICAL BURNS and FRIED my hair to the point that it was breaking off like tiny, fragile icicles any time I ran a brush or comb through it. The next day at work I was absolutely humiliated and showed my coworker (a former licensed hairstylist). She was HORRIFIED and said that they “must not have used scalp bleach” and instead used something much more harsh to cause burns like that. As a bonus, my remaining hair was so destroyed that it was breaking off in chunks, and I had to begin instead deep conditioning treatments & trims as often as possible to try and grow out all the damage before I could begin even trying to grow my hair back out. I have told MANY people this story over the years, but it bears repeating: Do NOT trust any “professional” who encourages you to “give them 5 more minutes” when you tell them that your flesh feels like it’s BURNING. I can’t believe the women there were so willing to DESTROY my HAIR AND SCALP rather than turn business away due to not having the product & capabilities to bleach brunette hair safely. BEWARE! I was horrified to hear that the woman that oversaw this damage is still working!

Shirley Bailey It was terrible after a month I had to find another salon to fix my hair. that would be two hair cuts and 70.00 later. And its still not right. Im sorry but the girl needs more training. She shouldnt worry about whats going on in the salon she should take care of her client. I Would not go back to that salon again. First chair on the left. Carol Worden I have been going to Hair Hut for many years. If I have an issue of any kind it has always been resolved. With that being said, there has been maybe twice in many years that any issue arrived. I will continue to Rosa do my hair.
