C S These guys are great: theyre competent, efficient, and friendly. The service is excellent, the prices are fair. I needed to replace a shredded tire that wasnt a stock item. They had it in the shop within three days. Since my car wasnt going anywhere on three wheels, I took the wheel in first. They removed the old tire, put the new one on, and balanced it, in less than an hour. I went back a couple of days later for the alignment, which was also done quickly on a much busier morning. I would have no hesitation in going back there.

They replaced both front and back brake pads and rotors, finished the job quickly, and worked hard to not have to replace our calibers as well. Bayinnah Shabazz Had an Enterprise rental that had a flat tire. AAA put on the donut. We drove 50 miles to Mavis, the only tire store open after 12:00 pm on Saturday . They checked the tire and repaired it . Everyone was quite friendly and kept us informed. They put it thru the Enterprise insurance which paid for the repairs. They saved our trip, it’s 500 miles back home . Great shop and people .

Spiral81C1 I have been coming here since 2016 so its safe to say I was already satisfied, but I am writing this because I was especially happy with my service today. I had some service done on my truck and I also agreed to have an alignment done. When they called me to pick up the vehicle, they let me know that when the tech evaluated the alignment he realized I didnt need one, so they didnt do that, reducing the cost of my bill by 60%. I really appreciate this because, honestly, had they gone through with anyways, I would have never known the difference. Ive learned to trust these guys over the years. Having service techs that do good work on your vehicle is one thing, but when they are as friendly, professional, and honest as these folks are, I cant help but be a repeat customer.

The owner walked me around and showed me the work they did, making me exceedingly confident that the hitch will perform as expected. And the price was right! Saved hundreds, if not $1k, having Mattison Motors do the install instead of having an OEM hitch installed by Honda (which wouldnt have looked as good anyway!). Great local business. Aimee Duplissis This place reminded me of a place you would see in a small town where there are lots of older cars parked and ready to be worked on. I was told that it was first come first serve and that they open at 8 am. Unfortunately I arrived at 8:30 am so I had a 2 hour wait. They are right across from a mall and next to Starbucks so I couldve had plenty to do elsewhere. I chose to hang out. There was a TV in the lobby, but I chose to chat with other customers. They had many people come by and drop cars off for the week to be worked on when time allowed. There is an ooold truck (see pic) getting worked on outside (it isnt the owners). It seems that there are many car enthusiasts that trust this company to do a good job. I was impressed that the tire I was having put on ended up being not only the cheapest in the area for a m+s tire, but was cheaper than originally quoted.

Andre Woods The Car Shoppe Auto Repair Aviation RD Queensbury N.Y. 12804 Over the course of 2024, I spent over $1000.00 on pads and rotors for both the front and back of my car using The Car Shoppe Auto Repair. In January of 2025, I took my car back to The Car Shoppe and was told I needed an additional $500.00 for pads and rotors. I asked about a possible warranty on the pads. The owner became visibly upset. He quickly became defensive, very loud, and clearly agitated. I told him I didn’t want any trouble. He told me he didn’t like my attitude and that I needed to learn how to talk to him with respect. As we were checking out, he then told me that I also needed to replace 2 tires that were in bad shape. Adding $400.00 to the estimate, bringing the total to over $900.00. Tires I had just purchased from him only a couple of years ago. I told him I would find someone else and once again; he was quickly offended and very confrontational. He mocked my race, color, and my culture in front of his daughter, who was working the front desk, and a few other employees, who laughed and cheered him on. All the time, he was holding my keys, so I could not leave. A few days later, I took my car to one of the many reputable auto shops in the area and got my brakes fixed for $85.00 to clean the calipers. The tires he sold me were over 15 years old with a bad and defective tread, tires that I purchased from The Car Shoppe as new. This experience left me deeply upset and frustrated. The owners behavior was not only unprofessional but also discriminatory and disrespectful. No customer should endure such treatment, especially when seeking assistance and clarification on services that should be guaranteed. The exorbitant charges proposed were not justified, as evidenced by the significantly lower costs I incurred at another trusted auto shop in the area. Save yourself the trouble and find an auto repair shop that values integrity, fairness, and respect for all its customers.

K Breault I went to the Car Shoppe on the recommendation of a friend, who told me that their policy is "first come, first serve". My muffler fell off and I knew I wouldnt be able to get in with my regular mechanic. I arrived at 7:30 AM. They saw me right away, and replaced my muffler by 1 PM. The cost was very reasonable, based on estimates I found on the internet. I was extremely pleased with their service. I will be back!

edward granger I want to THANK YOU for fixing my titan diesel. Had it at the dealer they installed a def pump. It never ran right sense. No power from 18 miles per gal to 5.5 . Surging almost pushing me into traffic. They would not take it back in . This started last October. Said no ck engine light can not help me. Well took it into Adirondack Truck Repair .. They diagnosed it and found a O Ring installed wrong They repaired redid the right way It runs perfect i can say how happy i am. The first time I came in, they checked my car and noticed a screw on the front passenger-side wheel was almost falling out—something I had no clue about. They fixed it for me right away and didn’t even charge me. Super thankful for that! The second time, I brought my car in because it was making a weird noise. They checked it out and even did a full safety inspection—again, didn’t charge me.
