Resorts World Catskills - Monticello (NY)

4 /5 Sal A: Great weekend escape — clean, modern, and fun. I had a great stay at Resorts World Catskills. The hotel is sleek and comfortable — my room was spacious, clean, and had beautiful mountain views. The casino is smoke-free, which made the experience feel much fresher and more enjoyable. There are plenty of dining options on-site, from upscale steakhouse fare to casual bites. The indoor pool and spa area were a nice bonus, though the pool room was a little chilly. Staff were friendly and helpful, even when the check-in line got a bit long. Overall, a great mix of relaxation and entertainment — perfect for a quick getaway from the city. Would definitely come back!

3 /5 MICHAEL ENOCHES: Drink service is the worst I have ever experienced at any casino. Machines are tight. Small casino but can make a good day or weekend trip. Another of people just sitting at machines not playing and I would assume from the bus depot inside. It was clean and a good assortment of games. Big screens for watching games. Good food choices.

3 /5 Jim Loughrey: Not at all happy with this casino..Yes, it’s kept very clean and smoke free which is very important to me and my family..But, I don’t appreciate non players looking over my shoulder while I’m playing a slot machine. There’s plenty of other slot machines available and there’s no reason whatsoever to be watching what I’m doing! Makes me feel very uncomfortable!

2 /5 Marc Saffer: Very pretty space with a full casino. Staff is pleasant, but poorly trained. Dealer had to check the chart to confirm payout odds. After over an hour of playing, still could not get a single drink. Offered to pay; asked the pit boss. Nothing.

5 /5 Fran T: My husband and I arrived at the casino on Monday September 8, 2025 with our daughter who is an adult . We arrived went inside to get the keys to our double queen bed room, find out that there was only one and it was at the end of a hall to far to get too . So, then were given what seemed to be a queen possibly a king size bed and a pullout couch. My husband agreed , this isn’t what we paid for. The desk promised he would send linen and a pillow for the pull out couch right away . Well this didn’t happen . We literally were there hours and had to stop back to check in , to ask for the linen and pillow. Honestly , I didn’t care for the room , it was also last room down the hall by an exit door. The room was clean . Hopefully if we go again we get what we pay for “ not “ a room nobody wants . All and all we had a great time . Our daughter kept getting id checked which was fine . She looks much younger than she actually is ( lol ). And the casino was just doing their job . All and all we do this once a year to get away for a few days . The food was expensive and they all “ add “ a tip we paid over a $26 tip at the Lotus. I know this is a casino and their food was good , but the tip should be left to the customer. We also ate daily at the 24/7 Bistro which did the same their portions are huge and you do get what you pay for . I don’t understand why it’s called 24/7 because it opens at 7 am in the morning and actually is “ not “ open 24/7 . Again we had a nice time , and cannot wait to come back. Only thing we want is the room we paid for “ not “ a random room.
