Jlabash21: They forgot me in the ED until I walked up and asked after 6 hours of waiting how it was looking for me. And they responded “no one took you back to a room yet?” Then immediately got me back. Spent the whole night in the tent with it smelling like people defected on the floor. The tents bathroom-pipes froze so if you needed to go to the bathroom you needed to walk through 10 degree weather to use the lavatory inside the ED. I’m a breastfeeding/ pumping mom and the ER let me store my expressed milk in a designated fridge with labels. However when I was moved to the observation unit they brought me a plastic container of ice and said this is how they do it on this unit and they don’t think the ER should of allowed me to use a fridge. Breast milk is suppose to be below 40 degrees, without knowing exactly I cannot guarantee my breast milk is properly stored. Not a good look, lactating moms beware !!

Jswable Swable: Unresponsive after having numerous tests/scans performed. Would not return calls or explain the results as health continued to decline. Had to find another Dr to get a diagnosis and treatment before needing to be hospitalized or certain death. There is no excuse for this. "Doctors not in today" is the mantra. For weeks! If the Doctors not in- why is the staff telling patients everything is fine with their tests? They were not fine, at all. Children, take care of your parents and take them elsewhere. Parents, care for your children who care about you and save your time and health by going elsewhere. This practice should be sued.

J Mack3478: Came here for a simple tb test. Upon entering the staff was friendly, inviting and informative. I was directed back to the occupational medicine area, where the test is preformed. The receptionist at the desk was extremely rude. I waited at the window while she was on the phone. It seemed as though she became irritated that I was standing there. Instead of taking a brief moment to ask why I was there, she shut the glass in my face. Now she was on the phone, possibly with a patient, so I can understand she maybe didn’t want me to hear the conversation due to patient confidentiality. Although I could still hear with the glass shut. Once she was off the phone it was still a moment before she acknowledged I was there. Possibly wrapping things up on the computer from the phone call, giving her the benefit of the doubt. When she did speak with me her tone was very rude. It’s not alway what you say but how you say it. I gave 2 stars because she was the only person who made my experience unpleasant but never the less it was it was unpleasant

Dr. Andrew C. Hilburger, MD - Batavia
Cole Lowery: If I could give negative stars, I would. My partner has nocturnal seizures, and has only had one EEG done while awake. Hilburger suggested taking him off of the medication that worked for nearly 4 months, without even considering any other tests for NOCTURNAL seizures. He said, "It couldve been a one-off thing". After I reminded him how many NOCTURNAL seizures my partner had, the time between each, and suggested more accurate testing, he looked at me as if *I* was the issue and simply repeated, "It couldve been a one off thing since the test came back inconclusive." He stopped prescribing him the medication that was controlling his seizures, without any further explanation. 4 days. Hed stopped taking the meds for only four days. One test. While he was awake. When he only has his seizures while asleep. Didnt even explain how my love should properly wean off. I learned from a family member after the relapse that he shouldve done that. I blame myself too; I shouldve thought to ask. The EMT and the doctor that handled him after this last seizure both said that it didnt make any sense for him to stop a medication that was controlling his seizures. The doctor looked *angry* about it. I wonder if explaining what Ive personally been through would have changed anything. I wonder if reminding him that my partners biological father passed from the same condition, would have changed anything. I wonder if repeating a history that suggests more undocumented and unwitnessed seizures, would have changed anything. We shouldve gotten a second opinion, at the very least. I am blaming myself for this all. My love was simply excited to work again; now he needs an extended leave once again, and is depressed. Im not sure if it was a race thing or not. If youre Black, or have nocturnal seizures, I beg you, please make the trips to Strong instead. Get a second opinion if he wont explain his decisions, please. He could have had my love killed, without any explanation for his decisions. I dont want anyone else to go through watching over their partner all night just to witness another seizure for the first time in nearly 4 months. My love is too good a man, and has too little faith in the world to pursue a lawsuit. I dont want to be angry with Hilburger. I pray that the Lord lifts these feelings from my spirit, despite the fact that I cannot close my eyes without seeing the agony he was in. I keep telling myself that my love is back on the meds, hes okay, hes strong. I just want to make sure anybody with a similar background [Black/nocturnal seizures] isnt killed. Good luck and God bless.

Gabriela Rodriguez: This is the only hospital I know in the U.S that refuses to give out patient info. And the receptionist also refuse to give me her name. I asked for the supervisor she said her name was Kathy not sure if thats really her name since the first woman I spoke with had to ask someone in the background if she should transfer the call. I dont understand how hard it was for her to check the system to see if my family member was admitted there. Wow. Im speechless. Unprofessional people work there
