1 /5 Serrina Alley: Ive been going for years and after my old doctor retired Ive had multiple appointments set up with Dr.Dar their new physician and she keeps rescheduling "wont be in the office" I have yet to see her or have an actual appointment with her for more then a year. Its ridiculous, she doesnt care about her patients. They are just another paycheck to her. Stay way from using her for you own health find a better doctor who cares enough to see you.

1 /5 Nia 8406: Never really have any issues with Bassett however today while on the phone the staff in the Schoharie office was extremely rude and complained about their workload as if they are the only person on the planet. They began to (for a lack of better words) chew me out as if I personally was the issue standing in their way. Customer service goes a long way. You get what give. I for one will go to and or deal with every Bassett facility except for the Schoharie location. That was no way to speak to ANYONE.

Aimee Dars Ellis: I was seven minutes late to my appointment with Dr. Yee because the road from my house was down to one lane for tree-trimming and I was unaware of that. I called from the road and the receptionist said to come to the clinic and they would get me checked in. When I arrived, the front desk said I was late and they would have to reschedule me. I had made the appointment a month ago and they would not make any concession or be at all understanding of my situation. This was a first-time patient appointment so I opted to not reschedule and will be going to a different clinic. While I understand that it’s important to be on time due to the cascading impact of late patients, I believe that not allowing any leeway is unnecessarily strict, and they did not at all care that they lost a patient.

nicholas longoni: I moved from another state and I was getting pain management services. I had previous pain management doctors and my neuro send sufficient records to show i needed services and they denied me. First off they never call you back. Second, the woman who answers the phone is very rude and treated me like I was doing something wrong when all I wanted was an explanation and to see if I could send in more records and she wouldn’t even listen to me. I’m on ssdi, I have not been able to work in almost 3 years. I’ve tried every other option and failed so I’m on opioid therapy that has made a significant difference in my life, yet somehow I was not worthy of this place nor was I worthy of a call back, an explanation or to be treated with any kind of decency. Doctors are supposed to help people and people should be treated with respect but this place didn’t get the memo. Please do not give this place your business. Go find people with compassion because if they let that woman who answers the phone work there and she treated me like garbage and she didn’t ever bother to call me back, just think what the doctor would be like.

Carrie Hubbard: Dr. Shives has been excellent to my husband and I. When I have a concern he listens and we try to figure it out. If I think I need labs or testing for this or that he orders them without question! Hes a straight shooter, down to earth, he treats you as an equal, and he doesnt disregard your feelings. He doesnt let his expertise override your opinion on an issue you might have with your own body. I highly recommend Dr. Shives to all my friends and family!
