3 /5 yara infante: I had a very disappointing experience at this office. During my tooth extraction, the doctor repeatedly blamed me for the procedure being difficult due to significant decay. While I understand this might have been a factor, I don’t think any patient wants to hear that while enduring pressure, drilling, and discomfort. Instead of reassuring me, the doctor’s comments made the experience more stressful.
Once the extraction was done, the doctor left without addressing me, providing any post-procedure guidance, or checking if I had questions. I was handed off to an assistant who struggled to take my X-rays, repeatedly saying, “I’m not gonna keep struggling with this” as if he was ready to give up. I don’t even know if the X-rays were taken properly. Worse, he failed to place gauze in my mouth before I left, so I walked out with my extraction site completely unprotected.
When I called back for care instructions—since they weren’t properly provided in person—the staff member focused more on discussing my next appointment, copays, and sending me treatment plans than addressing my immediate post-procedure concerns. It felt insensitive and like a money grab. While I received the treatment plan immediately, I had to call back and wait 45 minutes to finally get the care instructions.
