2 /5 Mickaela Scott: While the care is beyond excellent, there are some issues elsewhere. I made an appointment to get an exam, X-Rays, and cleaning here, as I and my family have for many years. Afterwards, I was told that they did not accept my insurance and it was my responsibility to pay over 400 dollars out of pocket, then and there. I had changed my insurance over a year ago, and it did not cross my mind that they didn’t have my current on file, however insurance was not brought up when making the appointment, nor when I checked in, but only after. I believe this is complete negligence, and that it should be standard procedure to inquire beforehand, especially when that much money is involved, and when most (especially a young adult who lives alone, and has been working minimal hours during a pandemic) can’t afford it. Had I known that my insurance wasn’t accepted here, I would have gone elsewhere.
