Tylor Hunn: Came in for a routine physical and brought up a few concerns about general health. 1 month later, I get a bill for $90 because the fully covered physical turned into an office visit just because I asked some questions. Very shady behavior and will be looking for a new doctor.
Todd Harmon: Our daughter recently had a tonsillectomy at this hospital. She is 9 years old. We were very happy with everything. The nurses were great especially our RN Drew. Couldn’t be happier with the care and attention given to our daughter here. Thank you
Amy Hamilton: Everyone at Village Veterinary Hospital is wonderful!! From the vets, to the assistants, to the front staff and everyone in between. Everyone is so kind and caring. The facility is always super clean and has a very professional organized atmosphere. The smallest details that everyone there puts their energy into is noticed and greatly appreciated. THANK YOU ALL for all that you do for our pets and families.
Kayla C: Dr. Bookbinder and the team here are amazing. My pit tore her CCL August 2021 when she was 1 1/2, thankfully my vet referred me to here. My dog is reactive to strangers touching her and she does not like going to the vet. Her first surgery was a success but Dr. Bookbinder told me to be prepared in case she tears her other leg. He was correct and she needed another surgery March 2022. He used dissolvable stitches so he didn’t have to remove them and stress her out, which would possibly leading to messing up the healing. The second time he allowed me to take her home same day because the first surgery she was so stressed out staying the night. I was in the room when she woke up from the second surgery and took her home. Diane here is so wonderful I have emailed them because she was limping around 8 month after the second surgery and she assured me that the rate of failure is almost impossible and to give it a few days and if she was still limping they would examine her. Thankfully she was right and my girl is happy and healthy! Its been almost 3 years now and if it wasn’t for the scars on her legs you would never know she had surgery. Much cheaper than other quotes I got and he did an amazing job. She is running, jumping and playing like a dog should. I really can’t thank Dr. Bookbinder enough.
Erik Nielsen: Ive read some negative reviews, and it makes me wonder if Ive had a completely different experience than others. I was admitted in December for pneumonia, and ended up being there for 3 days.
During my time there, I was completely blown away at the professionalism, compassion, and incredible care I received there. Everyone from the ER staff, to my own health care team, to xray techs and transportation, EVERYONE was unbelievably wonderful!
My assigned doctor and health care team were amazing, always kept me informed, and were friendly, and just amazing people!!
I will admit,.. I am NOT a fan of modern medicine, and not all hospitals in the Rochester area are created equal,.... but in my opinion, Unity Hospital is one of the best! Clean, friendly, and very good at what they do! Thank you for restoring my health!
Cindy Haynes: This is regarding URMC Billing Dept. only--NOT the medical care.
After filing a billing harassment complaint with the Integrity/Compliance Office, the matter was taken care of very quickly. As instructed, I will NOW forward all future bills to--Patient Relations rather than the Billing Dept. It amazes me that one has to file a formal complaint to get URMC Billers to do their job. After filing the complaint, the very next day URMC billers submitted my bill to the CORRECT insurance address that I and BCBS had given them (MANY times in the past) and the bill was paid immediately. The day I contacted the Office of Integrity/Compliance, I actually received a THIRD bill during a 7-day period. This unscrupulous behavior is particularly bothersome as we pay over $1000/month for our insurance. URMC needs to change billing companies now or these people need further education. Im seriously wondering where you get these people.
I would like to be paid for all the time I spend trying to school these people on how to do their jobs. They are unable to follow ONE simple instruction--send the bill to the correct address which I provide them with. I do not have time for this nonsense--Im a caretaker 6 days a week.
I deal with Rochester Regional, a Dental Practice, and Lattimore Physical Therapy. How is it that they can get it right every time?!
No reply is necessary. Please dont try to come up with any excuses. There is no way to spin this. I give them the correct address and they just cant be bothered. This has been going on for years. There is nothing more to say on this subject other than get rid of these uneducated, lazy (maybe illiterate?) billers.
alicia marie: The Rehab therapists are the only reason this is getting any stars. Most of the nurses are careless and don’t want to work. They are short staffed. Lights will go off for hours. The food is disgusting. Things will ONLY get done if you have a STRONG advocate. Other wise u are left to rot.
Chyanne elaine: Im not very thrilled with the "care" Ive had here at strong. Ive been here since Thursday morning due to bleeding while pregnant. The nurses are great, well some. But the doctors are a joke. Im hardly told the same thing twice and Im supposed to trust this entire unit with my care? My IV hasnt been flushed in 15 hours.
Im 28 weeks and leaving against medical advice because I dont feel comfortable here. Its not good for my mental health and its causing unnecessary stress.
I wouldnt recommend going here. Find some place else.
