The whole atmosphere was calm/calming. The staff is professional, orderly, friendly, without that over the top, perkiness which can sound like youre being spoken to at toddler level.
Thorough in questions, and listened fully while I answered. No doom, and gloom, and the what could happens, just because I have some things that need attention.
I was impressed that the nurse practitioner was willing to do some extra research into possible alternative prescription compounds, if prescription is called for, in order to accommodate a corn allergy.
I really appreciate that there was absolutely no pushing, not even any questions about getting any sort of vaccine, yearly shot, etc.
Very glad they were recommended to me!

Madejski, MD - Lockport Jonathan Thomas: This place is so incredibly slow, Im here with my Fiancé and weve been here for a little over an hour and a half and her doctor still isnt here yet. What we thought was an easy check up and scans turned out to be her having to work overnight then having a appointment first thing after work and she still hasnt slept at all. Im sitting next to her while she dosing off because they are taking forever.
Also not to mention, the nurses or whoever do the probe examination arent careful and are not respecting of their patients, what ever happened to the saying "let me know if this hurts"
Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic - Lockport Michele Adamski: I cant say enough good things about Dr. McCausland and the team at Cornerstone Veterinary! Our miniature schnauzer needed surgery, and from the first consultation to the post-op care, they provided exceptional service. They explained everything in detail, answered all our questions, and treated our dog with the utmost care and compassion. The surgery went smoothly, and the recovery process was well-managed with clear instructions and follow-ups.
What truly impressed me was their responsiveness when I dropped in without an appointment as soon as they opened on a Monday morning. The issue wasn’t due to the surgery, but rather my dog’s diabetes and the slow healing that often comes with it. Despite having no appointment, they immediately took my boy to the back, addressed our concerns with patience and expertise, and went above and beyond to provide the care and reassurance we needed.
On top of that, anytime I had questions, I could call the clinic, and Dr. McCausland himself would personally take the time to answer and address all my concerns.
To top it all off, the cost of this surgery at Cornerstone was half of what I paid for the same procedure at another vet. Exceptional care at a fair price is rare to find, and I’m so grateful we chose them.
The staff is lovely, and its clear they truly care about their patients.
If youre looking for a skilled and compassionate veterinarian, I highly recommend Dr. McCausland and Cornerstone!
Donner Creek Veterinary Clinic - Lockport Paulina Masailo: I brought my kitten Marcelene here for her vaccinations and to be spayed when we first got her and was very happy with the staff and how well they handled my spicy kitten. Fast forward a few months we had to bring her in to be checked because she cut her toe open and a week later because she wasn’t eating or drinking any water(she’s a problem child). The doctor Jeanne Fournier gave us some options on how to proceed and was extremely sensitive to our financial situation. She had us follow up to make sure Marcelene was getting better and even made sure to call me back after hours when I was in a panic and had some questions. Thankfully Marcelene is better and I am so thankful for the vet and vet techs that helped us through this stressful time! Couldn’t expect better care for our little fur baby
Great Lakes Cardiovascular - Lockport Noelle: Getting old can be depressing and frightening. Having congestive heart failure in a town where the only providers seem to go out of their way to demonstrate how disinterested they are in your welfare is hardly encouraging. Not scheduling tests as promised, finally scheduling them but neglecting to submit the necessary paperwork to insurance for approval, after said tests finally completed months later randomly cancelling the customary follow-up appointment without rescheduling and then ignoring repeated requests for a new time. Abysmal, unethical and infuriating. My father deserves better, so does Lockport.
Community Health Center Of Lockport - Lockport jennifer g: Always there, staff really cares, UPDATE 1/11/25- theyre now in the old bank 100 Main street! All NEW everything AND dental clinic opening soon in same building! They take ALL insurances and also do sliding scale, Lockport has needed this! Its right across the street from the bus stop, the high rise and sub delicious
Randleigh Animal Hospital - Lockport Angie Parrish: Dr. Lewis and staff are amazing! My girl Lola loved her experience and left happy and I left happy as a new dog mom. Dr Lewis and staff are very helpful, compassionate, loving, caring, and Dr is very thorough doing exams and listens to all worries and concerns you may have. Explains and shows everything to you. Prices are very fare and reasonable. If there are options your sure to have them that best suites you and your pet. Nothing is never recommended thats not necessary for your pet for the best care you can give. I would highly recommend taking a visit. I know Lola will be for many years to come.
