2 /5 Kella Hampel: Unfortunately this place could be a 5 star if the receptionists weren’t so rude. I’ve been waiting on a night guard for over a year, when I called they’re always nasty and snarky. I’ve had to do impressions twice now which is uncomfortable if you’ve ever had them done. My dental hygienist is awesome and Dr. Melo is great as well! Always very pleasant and sweet. But the front end needs a change if they plan on keeping patients. I’ll drive to Syracuse before I go back there because of reception.

Some receptionist were helpful but I called today for the 4th time to tell them we have been notified of appointments that were canceled due to us switching dentist. When I was explaining that the receptionist was very rude and said we will take the appointments out extremely rudely and hung up on me. I have NEVER ever had an experience like this before. I would not recommend.

1 /5 Michael and Myra Love: My Experience - with Larry Melo. Ive been going to his practice over 12 years Spent lots of Money to have good health my Teeth. I am not happy when he wanted to Extract my Wisdom teeth unnecessary. He is extremely not a benefit but a person That enjoy being in control - arrogant. He is extremely intimating -. This past Visit having a tooth ache long with my Wisdom tooth hygienist suggested to me Medication to take care of infection. Larry Melo didnt go over my chart instead He walk away. May be feel unimportant.

Tammy: I must agree with the bad reviews they have received. They do not care about their patients, just the $$. I would go a step further and say they are prejudice, unfortunately. Its a very uncomfortable atmosphere, stale, unfriendly & they speak in their foreign language to eachother during conversations with you (which is very rude, especially since they speak English very well). They call at 8pm to move your appointment up for the next day, then arent ready before your original appointment time anyway. They have all your dental records & x-rays, but have you come all the way in, take time off from work, only to tell you that they didnt schedule enough time to do anything at this appointment, and they will call you next week for another appointment....though your filling is broken and youre in considerable pain, AND they have your records & x-rays, AND told them on the phone what is going on. Over all, there is no reason to speak another language during an appointment with an English speaking patient, unless they are talking about you. And that is the vibe they give, fully. They make you feel very judged, have zero personality, and couldnt care less about your pain, lost wages, or getting you in, in a timely matter for something that requires immediate attention... they simply, send you away without so much as filing a jagged edge that is cutting your tongue with every swallow. I would not recommend this office at all. And, if it wasnt so hard to get into another dental office, i wouldnt have gone back after my first appointment there! Theyre also very expensive compared to dentists that have been in this country practicing dentistry for their entire careers. After this big waste of time again today, Im just a tad irritated with their arrogance, and wont be going back to them. I should have stayed with my original dentist, because there is a reason he is booking out so far..Hes a very likeable guy, and has been around here for many, many years. I called his office after walking out Shahs door, was put right in this afternoon to file the sharp edge, and have an appointment next week for the crown. And THATS how you take care of YOUR PATIENTS!

ashley: The receptionist and the other staff are very friendly but the dentist himself is extremity rude and temperamental. I had to have a tooth pulled and he wanted to send me to Albany to have it done but I found an oral surgeon in New Hartford who would do it and he had to write a new script and he was pissed. I had to inform the office that I was pregnant and he flipped on the receptionist when he found out. I do not recommend going to the office.
