Kevin Chow: I received terrible care, and many mistakes were made both in the office and with Dr. Timashpolsky. I came in with a hand injury and was referred for an X-ray. After having the X-ray at Langone, I found out that my hand was broken. I tried to follow up with Dr. Timashpolsky, who told me that my hand looked “normal.” Later, I discovered that I had been confused with a different patient who also had a hand injury. I repeatedly tried to contact the office and the doctor to clarify the diagnosis and receive treatment, however the message portal was down and their office was almost impossible to reach. It is a terrible system. I never received a follow-up or explanation. I don’t believe the message ever reached her. In the end, I basically googled my x-ray findings and ordered a splint off of Amazon. During my time dealing with this office, I had to get five referrals—whether for X-rays or an orthopedist—and all were written incorrectly, wasting both my time and theirs. After many mistakes, I learned how to write a proper referral and had to specifically ask them what needed to be included before they would write it incorrectly. Again, why am I basically treating myself here? As someone who needs their hands for their occupation, this was an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience. Every interaction left me confused, upset and so much of my time was wasted. My hand could have worsened or sustained permanent damage due to the lack of proper care. I won’t be returning.

Rabia Nawaz: Front security lady was so rude. We were there to see our cousin and she started off by calling, making faces and then telling us “he has too many visitors upstairs while there was only 1 person”. She started murmuring something and told us to move on the side while we were talking…. I found it really rude and unprofessional. People go to hospital to see and cheer their loved ones… not to be treated mistreated.

Pierre Mondesir: I love the Midtown Health Center. I used to receive my care at Brooklyn Family Medical Office but I prefer the care at Midtown. I really like the medical care I receive from Dr. Ponomarev. I love my foot doctor Dr. Kathleen Fallon, she always helps me and she gives good treatment. She even called my previous knee surgeon when that Doctor gave up on me and she spoke to the office on my behalf. I also saw Dr. Baig my Neurologist only one time at Harlem Center and he gave me good treatment too.

Jenna: 7th Floor - Extremely rude MRI technician. Ive had multiple scans across numerous institutions and have never had someone so ill-informed about my case speak to me in such a disturbing manner. I felt beyond uncomfortable. This individual has no business being in patient-facing care.

Sd: In past six months we had to go to this place twice, and highly recommended doctor had no bedside manners. I have had fare share with doctors to deal with, but this kind never. Usually with any kind of procedure they walk you through what to expect what will happen etc… needed to get the biopsy for the liver and without talking he just shoved the needle in the stomach! Painful procedure and the process! It’s not that I have got many biopsy in my life. On top of it did not follow through entire instructions given by the doctors. Now that you are dealing with those doctors my doctor guaranteed me about the surgeon ( she would go to her) . I needed surgery, doctor was good to talk to, she knew what she was supposed to do but only half the information was given to me. I was never told how long will I be in recovery room, or if needed instead of laparoscopic they will make a full incision…, I was out after the surgery but my relatives were told that they can be with me within 1 to 1 1/2 hours instead they ended up staying 12 hours worrying about me. They got a call that the bed was not ready but the floor I was supposed to be on, the nurse was ready and asking my relatives when were recovery room was bringing me up. So big communication gap between each management. Avoid this hospital and do your homework before going to the doctor associated with this hospital.

Jacklyn Arroyo: Dr. Q is too negative. Hes very dismissive and makes people think its their fault. Never seen a psychiatrist so negative and likes to put the blame on the patient no matter what they went through. Spoke to a girl one year older than me and she was also dismissed by him too, worse hospital ever and always has been, lazy staff too. Didnt see that psychiatrist until after 2 hours.

maeve kathleen: The admin and front desk people are great but the place feels cold like a Black Mirror episode. Ive been handled like a piece of meat for blood draws (most pain ever on a blood draw in my life) and treated with blank blinking stares when my pcp met with me for the first time. Awful, so dehumanizing. I had a subsequent doctor visit that was OK, and I will keep trying. ADDITIONALLY they require sign up for a "mychart" website that DOES NOT WORK. Im so tired of signing up to a million of these sites, at least it should work properly. I get notifications that Ive been messaged only for it to be blank, constantly. Its been weeks since I got my tests done, for an example, and no updates. So, I am not happy at ALL, but this is the current state of healthcare and because of how helpful everyone is when I call, I will stick with it for a moment. I have a friend who comes here and swears by it so, here I am.

Miriam Bouchma: After almost 20 years in NYC, this practice is far and away my best experience. Appointments are on time (no long waits), the doctors are knowledgeable and impressively credentialed but friendly. And they offer a plethora of services. Highly recommend!

A. Lozada: I had an excellent experience at this facility under the care of Dr. Rosen. The hospital staff was attentive, professional, and made me feel at ease throughout the process. My procedure was efficient, and I was in and out within a few hours. While I can’t speak for the other doctors, I can confidently say that Dr. Rosen is an exceptional gynecologist. Her expertise, compassionate care, and clear communication truly stood out. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a skilled and caring GYN specialist.
