5 /5 Batman The Dark Knight: Looking around the area for something to do, I came upon this island. Saw a picture of a waterfall and had to check it out. It was a very nice day out and a lovely 2 mile walk all the way around. The man made waterfalls were small but nice. There was a huge bald eagles nest with 2 eagles in it. No bikes or skateboards. Pretty good amount of parking. Would recommend.

5 /5 Alissa DeMayo: Every time I walk along the perimeter trail, its like a new adventure. I heavily recommend coming here with pets, as its very pet friendly and a great way to stay in shape. The views are beautiful as well. If you tend to attract bugs, definitely put on some good bug spray since its a very bug heavy park in the summer.

4 /5 Linda Bahr: I can see how people like this place. Bit too groomed for my taste, but really nice. There are a lot of roots etc on path so just pay attention so you dont trip. I hear there has been a couple of suicides but not recently so give it a visit. Not strenous. Nice picnic areas. Restrooms available. Historic site.

5 /5 Vin Vin Hines: We all have that one friend or person in our lives thats all, "I dont like to hike, who walks for fun?" -- always complaining about how much their legs hurt or they are out of breath... That was me, I was that friend. However, Peebles was the first place to change my mind about hiking. The views are beautiful, the paths are always clearly marked, and the historic site is cool to look at and research. Overall, this is a great place to bring your dog, get a brisk walk in and see some eagles!! Dont be alarmed cause you have to walk, its well worth it. If I can do it, then you have no excuse. Get out and be in nature, love nature and thank me later. Vin Vin

5 /5 Maya H: One of the best places to walk and get a casual workout for people who dont work out haha. I always see beautiful sights and various animals. Ive seen lots of birds, deer, fish in the shallow stream and even a turtle! You can tell the paths are well maintained and the area is taken care of. I love all the trails and do it a bit different each time. The other end of the park also has grills and a pavilion. Peebles is definitely one of my favorite nature walks in the capital region.

Matthew Cerasia: This museum is perfect for history buffs and fans of seeing military guns/ equipment and uniforms. The museum is very well organized. They have different sections with each being a different time period and war that was being fought. The WW1 section was probably my favorite. It had an area where they made it look like you were in a trench. The information given was great and you’ll definitely leave learning something new.

David Hassoun: I think I followed the wrong trail, but thats because Im an idiot. I blame being color blind and not knowing which color trail to follow. I was looking for a place to spend the night because Im out of shape didnt think I could make it back up the hills. Kidding, but I did send a message to my wife telling her where I was in case I didnt come home. Beautiful trail, well kept and well marked. Peaceful. I loved it and plan to go back.

Adam Rollins: This is a multi-use park with 3 pavilions, a gazebo, a playground with 6 playsets of varying sizes, a splash park for summer use, tennis courts, and fields for baseball and soccer. I bring my little ones here on occasion when Im in the area where they can burn some energy and have a lot of fun while doing so.

The Warming Hut - Saratoga Springs

edward lender: One of the nicest places in the Saratoga Springs State Park. You can go in and get warm by the fire. It has heated restrooms and tables to eat on and also a grill outside to cook on in the summer also. Alot of parking for cars and trucks also. All the staff and police are very helpful and can tell you about other things to do in the park. A must see daily from sun up to sun down except they are closed on Sunday.

Charlie Spring - Saratoga Springs

Jim Cullen: Located right next to the entrance to SPAC inside Saratoga Spa State Park. Take Hadleys Beck south, off Avenue of the Pines, right by the Automobile Museum. This spring water is cold, lightly carbonated, with low mineral content. Most people would find it palatable, even if the flavor is just a touch curious! As I understand it, this water is supplied from Geyser Spring, the same source as the mineral water found under the Joseph L. Bruno pavilion across the street from the Automobile Museum. The last time we visited Charlie Spring, in October of 2022, it was not flowing. Usually though these issues are promptly addressed.

Tang Teaching Museum & Art Gallery - Saratoga Springs

Ryan Mazierski: The Tang Teaching Museum & Art Gallery is located on the Skidmore College campus in Saratoga Springs, NY. It has two large gallery rings and two smaller gallery rings. The exhibit spaces are easy to walk around. The museum does have a permanent collection, but often displays traveling or touring art exhibitions. Currently, the works of Alexis Rockman and Mark Dion are on display. The works presented by these artists are interesting, understandable, and enjoyable. Best of all, the museum is free! It takes about an hour or two to see the entire museum. Call ahead for their hours or check their website. Definitely, a nice small art museum for all to see.

Cohoes Falls - Waterford

Z: Beautiful waterfall right across the street with small parking lot. Nice place to stop by for a short walk/stretch with a nice view.
