She has cut, color and done my keratin to my hair. Sheās able to keep my hair looking healthy and she is always up to date with the latest hair styles. Definitely try Laurie, you wonāt regret it!
Sparkle Up - New City Shirley Friedlander: Canāt be happier with sparkle up. Such a friendly and wonderful team. They all took such great care of my daughters and her friends for her 6th birthday. They also sparkle up my parent guestsā¦made everyone feel beautiful! I canāt thank them enough. My daughter loved it and so did I! Worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Beauty Plus Salon - New City Maryam Altaf: awful job- I asked for a blow out all I got was a regular blow dry. Lisa had rushed me to take her next client. Was pulling my hair so much just to finish fast. I payed $40 for a blow dry that I couldāve done free at home.
I was given an appointment for 3:15. I got there at 3:11. I also gave her tip since thatās just how I am. Okay my hair was long- but what I asked for, if it couldnāt have been done it shouldāve been informed at the beginning.
YuroCuts New City - New City Moishe Kellman: Great service, care and attention to detail. I enjoy their option of booking an appointment online. I bring my kids here and they walk out happy with their style and haircut.

HAIR: I had a terrible experience with TONY for hair. I asked for a muted brunette colour, and he processed me red. Unlike other stylist that would correct their very rare mistake, TONY immediately processed a slightly less red colour (still not the colour I wanted whatsoever), and charged me $405, including tip - for doing two SINGLE PROCESSES, which he claimed was never a mistake in the first place. He claimed that it was brown, even as my daughter exclaimed that my hair looked like the My Little Pony hair she was playing with! I went elsewhere for a true colour correction, and the other salon fixed Tonys mistake properly.
ATTITUDE: As a customer for powder dip nails with KATE (who is terrific), I am tired of surprise price hikes, and add ons for unfamiliar services, and being berated to the point of tears when I ask "In the future, can you let me know if something costs extra?", which is a reasonable request. TONY seems very comfortable raising his voice, and relentlessly arguing. Going elsewhere.

Beauty Lounge of Rockland - Nanuet Vivienne Rollins: I had been going to another salon for years and was leaving for vacation and supposed to get my hair colored but the salon ended up closing for a few days due to Covid. I have long curly hair and looked for a salon that specialized in that type of hair. I found Beauty Lounge and have never turned back! Joanne has been wonderful, always listening to my requests and making great suggestions. People donāt believe I get my hair colored because it looks so natural. My hair cuts have made my curls bounce and frame my face perfectly. Everyone at the salon is friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable and pampering. Iāve gotten some great scalp massages when my hair is being washed as well! Iād highly recommend Beauty Lounge to anyone who wants a professional, comfortable and pampering experience!
Mashithas Hair Studio - Congers Krissa Rinaldi: She came to consult with me and then let me come in after an event and stood so late for me to make sure my hair was in great condition. She was very nice inside and out - offered me beverages and a snack for how late she stayed to do a color correction on my hair, and even blow dried and curled it. She shocked me with my hair because it looked so good! It was so healthy even when she brushed my hair and told me not a lot of hair shredded! And she is around the corner from my house so the travel is convenient for me!
I def would recommend her! She was a first time stylist to me and I couldnāt believe how she got my eyes to pop, it goes with my skin tone and I didnāt look so bland after the tints of red in my hair from the last time my hair was done which wasnāt what I asked for!
I appreciate her time and effort and patience with doing my hair ! Itās been less than 24 hrs and Iām getting so many compliments
