1 /5 Maryam Altaf: awful job- I asked for a blow out all I got was a regular blow dry. Lisa had rushed me to take her next client. Was pulling my hair so much just to finish fast. I payed $40 for a blow dry that I could’ve done free at home. I was given an appointment for 3:15. I got there at 3:11. I also gave her tip since that’s just how I am. Okay my hair was long- but what I asked for, if it couldn’t have been done it should’ve been informed at the beginning.

1 /5 NAY Z: Horrible experience.. I asked for a natural brown because I wanted natural highlights. The entire time there I was quiet, besides the two times I confirmed that I wanted brown not black.. it seemed like she understood but instead dyed my hair the darkest black in there.. thank God my sister was there because at the end when I saw my hair had the darkest black she then went on to say that it is not black as if my eyes were deceiving me, when that did not work because her coworkers admitted it was black she then said she knew I was going to be a problem because she knew my type.. I honestly believe she was trying to insult me based on my skin color. I paid the full price and walked out.. Never again will I walk in to that place. I would rather pay more than have someone do my hair without knowing how. I would not trust that place to do my hair..

1 /5 Paloma Serone: Answer: You clearly don’t check your emails as my first one was sent on 12/7/23, I called dozens of times, not once the phone was picked up. You only “solved my problem” within 24 hours after I reported you for fraud. You might not be a fraud, but sure as hell THE worse place to buy from. Maybe if you replied to your customers as fast as you replied to a bad review your business wouldn’t suck. FRAUD!!! Never got my whole order, they kept the money, never answered the phone or emails. Never buy there!

5 /5 Jen Lamia: I just had a haircut and blow dry with Lisa. Went to put a review and was surprised to see a negative comment! So upsetting that I called beauty plus to speak with Lisa. Such a shame that someone who was late to her own appointment claims she felt rushed. Great place and great stylist. Stop killing people’s livelihood because you are a keyboard warrior.

Vivienne Rollins: I had been going to another salon for years and was leaving for vacation and supposed to get my hair colored but the salon ended up closing for a few days due to Covid. I have long curly hair and looked for a salon that specialized in that type of hair. I found Beauty Lounge and have never turned back! Joanne has been wonderful, always listening to my requests and making great suggestions. People don’t believe I get my hair colored because it looks so natural. My hair cuts have made my curls bounce and frame my face perfectly. Everyone at the salon is friendly and the atmosphere is very comfortable and pampering. I’ve gotten some great scalp massages when my hair is being washed as well! I’d highly recommend Beauty Lounge to anyone who wants a professional, comfortable and pampering experience!

Krissa Rinaldi: She came to consult with me and then let me come in after an event and stood so late for me to make sure my hair was in great condition. She was very nice inside and out - offered me beverages and a snack for how late she stayed to do a color correction on my hair, and even blow dried and curled it. She shocked me with my hair because it looked so good! It was so healthy even when she brushed my hair and told me not a lot of hair shredded! And she is around the corner from my house so the travel is convenient for me! I def would recommend her! She was a first time stylist to me and I couldn’t believe how she got my eyes to pop, it goes with my skin tone and I didn’t look so bland after the tints of red in my hair from the last time my hair was done which wasn’t what I asked for! I appreciate her time and effort and patience with doing my hair ! It’s been less than 24 hrs and I’m getting so many compliments

When I had long hair, my experience with Julie was great, but when I asked her for a short haircut… I gave her a reference, but result really far from ref. Right now my head seems like a big weird egg, because she cuted off hair on sides too high and not straight, like stairs. So now it is better to hide my hair under a hat or even buzz and grow it again

Roro S: If I can give a ZERO I will. Worst stylist , horrible job, horrible attitude after, and possibly the worst customer service from a manager. I was referred Yan by my stylist from another Supercuts cuz she was leaving. I told Yan I wanted Sunkist natural highlights that start halfway down and grown out. I showed him a picture and said this is how I want it. He acknowledged by saying “you want grown out look natural look that frames the face” I said yes. I continued to sat several times, I Do Not Want chunky highlights, I don’t want anything close to the scalp, I don’t like stripes where my hair looks frosted or very blond.. that I don’t like drastic contrasts. He acknowledged & said no problem. As for the cut, I showed him two pics and I said I want it textured & he said u want kind of a shaggy look, and I said kind of I DONT WANT tons of layers that will flip and look like a Christmas tree. And I want a heavy bottom not so many layers. So I trusted him based on the referral and I said all the things I didn’t want enough, to know I was going to be ok. I was looking down my phone working while he blow dried my hair.. I look up and it was the opposite of what I asked for and exactly what I said repeatedly NOT TO DO! When I said , why is it white & why do I have so many layers u (He even told me he want doing a lot of layers around my neck) , but I got exactly all these layers I didn’t want? He responds with a shrug, fist on hip, and says with a half rolled eye look & attitude “ well u didn’t want me to blend it, so I didn’t”. I was in such a hurry I just paid and left. $245!!!! I called the manager the next day and she said they can’t help me and for me to go back to my other stylist to fix it. My stylist had only one day & didn’t have opening. So when I called the manager back to say there wasn’t an opening, she said “oh well, there isn’t anything I can do about that” . I got so mad.. that I ended up having to go the Ramsey location and had to get all my hair cut off and remove all the white frosted highlights. Miriam in Ramsey saved me. I was so embarrassed by my hair. I had to pay to get rid of what Yan did to me. For a horrible white/silver frosted highlights that were extremely uneven, and a butchered haircut that was everything I said Not TO Do! I wish I could call the owner to tell them how horrible Yan is and disgusting of a customer service by their manager. I posted pics here of what I showed him and he confirmed that he can do it in his 13years of experience (this due looks like someone came out of beauty school) what I wanted and what I got. The color was worse in person, and the cut made me look like a squid & a Xmas tree. Here are 2 pics I showed him of what I wanted and a pic of color I wanted. Here is what I got and Disaster
