Heavenly Moore I love the way my hair looks and feels after having it done by Ashley. I felt the need for a change in my stylist and took a chance with Ashley , I really appreciate how much you really see the difference in the before and after of any hair she does. I had an amazing experience she’ll talk with you and has a really welcoming vibe if you want to sit in the quiet she’s more than happy to do that too ! Very highly recommend!!

Samantha Taylor Ashley did amazing with my hair. After a year of using black box dye, she was able to lift it & make my hair purple with a bright lime green ghost root. And my hair is still soft and healthy. I absolutely love it!

Rose Ashley is amazing! I have been on a hair JOURNEY with her. From dimensional copper to my wedding hair to every crazy idea I want to try next. She can do any color to perfection. Not to also mention the craziness that I do to my hair in between each appointment which she handles flawlessly and very judgement free. AND this new salon is so lovely, I really like the aesthetic and the atmosphere that she has built.

Susan Cservenak The shop had a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Kim had cut and styled my hair and I was very happy with it. Excellent job Kim! I will definitely be going back there

Lin Fields I love this shop! At my age Ive been to a ton of them, and this one is the best!! Anna is very sharp at what she does, and the other gals are super friendly and professional. BUT if you want an A++ stylist, you need Carrie Mitchell! I have multi-colored hair (you know the old adage old lady with purple hair! LOL) and she does a phenomenal job! I highly recommend this wonderful shop. It might not look like a lot from the outside, but inside its a diverse, multi-age, multi-gender shop and you wont be sorry!!

Donna Knowlton I have never written a bad review for anyone. Crystal (Crystals Beauties) charges extremely high prices and has terrible customer service skills. To to have my hair and my grandsons hair colored and *cut cost $385 including the tip. She called it "all over highlights". Basically she colored my hair with highlights, $185!. Not what I asked for and charged $35 more to trim my hair, Maybe 2", that she called a *cut. She cut and colored a child and charged $100 for color and a $15 cut. I never should have given her the tip, but when she handed me the tablet, its right there in giant font and hard to decline when shes standing there watching you. Extremely Embarrassing and uncomfortable situation!!.. I called several other salons and they said they would never charge that price for that service And that the cuts should be included with hair treatments as they are most everywhere else. When I called her to discuss the price she got very defensive and then hung up on me! She got upset that I was getting a little heated and swore. She had NO problem dropping the F bomb during personal phone calls while she did our hair! I am sick over all of this. I knew it would cost quite a bit to have our hair done but holy cow! Im sure the other girls do great work, and charge fair prices, unfortunately Ill never go back and neither will my family..or anyone else that doesnt want to be ripped off..

Functional Hot Mess Worth waiting for! Booking for color is about 1 week or so. The stylists are great people with a wide range in talent! The salon is beautiful and welcoming! Check out that before and after!!

Carter Every time I leave Marcy Spa I feel like a brand new women!! Ive had 3 facials so far the last 2 being with Emily and shes amazing at what she does! I had Kaitlyn my first experience and she was just as amazing! Every one that works there is awesome! So kind and not judgemental at all! Such a cozy comfortable place I always feel so welcomed and count down the days until I can go again! They have a customer for life!! Thank you all!!

No cattiness when the door closes, no negativity, no judgment. This beautiful, creative space is run by women supporting women, and every customer is a return customer. Even on my first trip, I felt right at home and Leah knew exactly what to do. My hair is not fried, it is beautiful, she takes her time and makes a masterpiece every time. I am shocked the balyage she creates is actually on my hair..it looks too good! Bonus, she even answers all my dumb hair questions.

MiaLynn Pelaez Sophie is the most amazing stylist! I have been seeing Sophie for I think 5 years and have followed her to every salon. I even flew from Colorado to New York for a hair transformation that I didn’t trust anyone else to do. I have referred all of my friends to her and will continue to do so. She is not only an amazing stylist, but the sweetest person! She nails it every time, and never misses. Even taking my super dark hair to ashy blonde and back, she keeps the integrity of my hair and is honest with me about what is achievable. New Roots is so lucky to have her! If you are able to get in her books, you will not regret it.

Samantha Holcomb I am very picky when it comes to color and was nervous about going to a new stylist but Leah is phenomenal! The color I got is stunning and exactly what I asked for. She is friendly and easy to talk to (which says a lot from a usually quiet introverted person). I went in to get my hair brightened up and the color is so beautiful and blended well! Highly recommend ☺️

Sarah Knafel I had an appointment with Sophie and she did an outstanding job! Before my appointment she told me if I wasn’t completely happy with the outcome to let her know before I left, and that she would fix anything I didn’t like free of charge. That made me feel really confident in choosing her for my hair. She really was able to communicate with me well about what would look best with my face shape and skin tone. She’s the only stylist I’ve been to that was able to give me balayage in the tone I wanted with touches of low lights. She gave me a cute cut that framed my face nicely, and didn’t take off more than I wanted. Sophie is a really talented stylist, and I was lucky to have her do my hair!

Candace S This place is amazing! Leah has created such a beautiful space, awesome atmosphere and she is a genius hair crafter. I am 42 years old and she makes me feel 20 again. Not to mention, she is always lovely and excited to see me. Sometimes I wish I could spend the day there escaping reality! If you are military and new to the area, call soon! It’s hard to get an appointment!

Maria Georgi Doldo was absolutely amazing and so sweet! She took care of my skincare needs and made the experience so relaxing!!! Best facial i’ve ever gotten! The massage included was the best and made the experience even more relaxing! Thank you so much!!

Evan L I’ve been going to A New Attitude since 2021 and I have no regrets whatsoever! Joe and Athena have been my main massage therapists for every booking and they have hands of magic! Chris Ebey Amazing experience! LOVE my hair!!! I have had a few cuts at New Attitude and always appreciated their quality and affordability. I just got my first perm as an adult from Sherry and oh my gosh, it is better than I could have hoped for! It is exactly what I envisioned. When she first styled it after the perm, I wasnt 100% pleased. I called for guidance on how to restyle it. They brought me back in and Sherry restyled it and it is beyond perfect! I havent felt this beautiful in years! I just had a baby and a breakup, and this is 100% the "New Me, New Look" that I wanted. I am so happy. They are kind, they are friendly, they are skilled, their price is great. This is a great salon!

Emma Sheley Kate at the Strand Salon did absolutely amazing on my hair and giving me a professional experience! From the moment i walking in the door of the salon, i was greeted and felt comfortable. Kate went through my hair with my and talked about what she would do so i had a total understanding and she did phenomenal! My hair looks so amazing and feels good, which is even better! I can not wait to continue to get my hair done by her!!

Makayla Pierce Kate has been doing my hair since she was in cosmetology school. She has never failed to give me exactly what I wanted even if it’s absolutely crazy like the picture. . She has worked really hard for her certifications and practices to make sure all of her customers are satisfied and get what they want. She is an amazing people person and I love going to her chair for her to do my hair. She is very open and understanding and all she needs is a little communication of what you want and you got it!

Guadalupe Gonzalez I went in for a full head highlight and I was given more of a partial highlight but still charged fullhead highlight paid over 200 and my hair was a mess not even or blended at all. My stylist was kate. I hope next time somone can guide her through her work.

Michelle Stephens Jess took my inspiration photo for my NBR extensions and made it happen! The color the blend the whole experience was perfect. This hair has given me a confidence boost that is priceless! If you’re thinking of getting extensions do it! But go to Jess so it doesn’t destroy your real hair I promise it’s so worth it!

Megan Metivier I got my hair done here and all i can say is that when i had left i had to wash my hair because there was a huge clump of hair dye at the bottom right corner of my hair. it also left that spot really itchy and dry and i noticed a rash for about a month after. i got it done in June (i waited to write a review to see how long the rash would last for). My hair was also not what i asked for and when my boyfriend called for me (i have really bad anxiety with things like that) they didn’t offer any solution to fix that problem. will not be returning. my hair stylist was Kate. here is what i had asked for and what i got. mind you, i wanted to avoid every way to NOT get brown because i’m a natural blonde. i left very disappointed. I asked for the blonde and received what she had called “bronde”.

Penny Avenengo You will not be disappointed. Ive been going to Janet for several years and shes awesome. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want done. Also, my daughter was having issues losing some hair and Janet was able to give her a beautiful cut and tips on how to hide her current hair loss. Made her feel beautiful again. ❤

Robin Eyler This was the worst hair experience of my life!! When I left the salon my hair was 3 different colors! Not at all what I asked for. The fact that my stylist didnt even say anything and thought my hair looked good is just beyond me. Thankfully I was able to get into another salon and they were able to save my hair. DO NOT go get your hair colored at this place.

Dana Not only is this salon top quality, they adhere beautifully to the new health and safety guidelines in these strange days we are all experiencing. I saw Kaylee for cut and color, and could not be happier. (I had resorted to trimming my own hair throughout the year of Covid-19, taking a total of 10” off myself, and felt it was time, personally, to safely get it fully done- for my own sanity.) Once I talked to them on the phone and saw their protocol, I will not visit anywhere else- even once the pandemic is over. Kaylee, and all the staff, are professional and highly skilled, as well as conscious of following the new required standards for public spaces. (Masks, social distancing, spraying/cleaning of everything, temperature taking at the door, etc.) I only wish there were more stars to give.

Ann-Kio Nelson I haven’t trusted anyone with my hair because the last two salons I went to I came out with rainbow colored hair, so my hair was pretty damaged. I called hair salons around my area and let me tell you people were just rude. I called EVOLVE HAIR STUDIO and immediately I was greeted by Sarah and she was able to pinpoint me to the right stylist. Kaylee worked her magic on my hair. We had to chop a lot of it off because of how damage my hair was, but in the end I LOVED IT!! Kaylee and her mom are the DREAM TEAM. Not only did they work a miracle they explained step by step what they were doing and how to better treat my hair. If I could give them more stars I would!! Great people and great environment. Everyone in the salon was very excited for me and the miracle KAYLEE did on my hair.

Ramsey Hilts Got my daughters first hair cut. And the stylist was very sweet. Gave me a ziplock bag for her first hair cut. She styled it put curls in it to make her look like princess.

Stephanie Bloss Christina is the best! She did such a good job trying to get the blue and red out of my hair. I sat there for a long time and she did A LOT. I highly recommend her if you have color you are trying to get out or are trying to do something different, she is your girl!

Jessica cantatore Went there yesterday and did not get what I wanted! She asked where I wanted it and I said to lay on my shoulders when dry, why did I leave there with it right below my chin and it’s uneven! I knew it was a long shot but didn’t expect it to be this bad!

Mitchell Birkenbuel I’d say the only hairdresser in there worth your time is sabrina. she’s always done good for me. that being said, i’d stay far away from any of the other hairdressers if you don’t wanna end up looking like me. i asked for a medium fade and got a high fade on both sides and the hair you see in the attached photos is just hair on the top of my head pushed down the side. i want my money back but i’ll never step foot in there again

Ashley Morse The employees here are wonderful I myself and my kids see Courtney because she’s amazing with the crazy fun hairstyles and is so good with my son who has a sensory problem she herself is a 5 out of 5 but interacting with everyone there is amazing and so interactive with everyone there even if they aren’t they’re client love it here

Marlene Otero Shouldn’t deserve a star, went to get a haircut and color, took them 6 hours to get it done, my hairdresser didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, had to constantly be asking the other workers there, and in the haircut process another had to step in. I had asked for short layers. I was so ready to leave didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home. They literally chopped my hair.

Reclosado Arya I was really nervous going to this salon solely from the reviews, but honestly I think I had one of the best times I think I’ve ever had here. I had Emily I believe, she was very personable and professional! She made the whole experience very fun and was very easy to talk to and work with, she gave me exactly what I wanted and then some, her fade work is great, she works great with wavy hair especially for all my people with thick and layered hair. If you go here, ask for her cause she was literally amazing

Missy K Terrible terrible service, it’s bad enough I haven’t had my hair cut in years due to having anxiety about it being cut. I went in and asked if they could do me as a walk in or do I need an appointment, the girl said well I guess we can take you now. Mind you this was 3:30 pm they were doing nothing but chit chatting & giggling. I already felt uncomfortable as if I’m intruding in on their party. I sit down the lady said what are we doing. I explained that I wanted a messy bob with layers and showed her how short with my fingers. She said ok. She cuts it straight and way too long, I tell her again I want it shorter, show her again where I wanted it, again she doesn’t cut it to the length I asked for originally, I tell her politely to cut it shorter and apologize, not sure why I’m the one apologizing. So she doesn’t cut a huff and starts cutting, then said well it’s going to be a lot shorter in the back now, it wouldn’t have been had you listened to me in the first place. When was thinning and doing layers she was getting my hair caught in the scissors and would literally yank the hair out of scalp at one point I jumped and said ow. She did nothing just kept right on going. Wasn’t offered to have my hair washed, dried nothing. I got home and my husband said your hair is cut uneven and there are random long pieces hanging out. I had to pay someone from facebook marketplace to fix this mess! To top it all off some worker sat in the chair behind me just staring at me. Never again.

Maria Leiva Went as a walk in due to my hair was very damaged and was a hot mess. I needed a deep conditioner and hair cut and style. And all they were accepting were hair cuts only. And they didnt have anyone to do my hair because they were booked with appts. But yet there was no one else there except 2 people in chairs. Bottom line JCPenney salon is not a real salon because their staff doesnt know how to cut treat style any other type of hair except for those with straight hair, or they are out of practice as stated to me by the manager. Over all this salon is not like the salons back in the day they do not work with all types of hair
