Sindy Ray As a legacy patient of Downtown Dental Im truly grateful that the team has kept the same vibes of this space from its previous owners. From Emily, who is one of the Dental Hygienist there to Dr. Shah and Dr. Moses Im always felt taken care of like Im family. I was there for my biannual checkup a few weeks back and Emily was so thorough in my checkup and made sure she paid attention to my concerns unlike other places Ive been to who simply dismissed the issues Ive made them aware of. Emily even made sure to give me a heads up about the water temperature before the cleaning as I was the first patient of the day while providing a few laugh out load moments during my time there. Dr. Shah who is my main Dentist always makes sure Im good and constantly provides updates on my dental health. Unlike other places who try to "upsale" procedures and try to force you to do things (sometimes unnecessarily), Dr. Shah doesnt do that! However, he lets me know if something should be addressed right away versus monitoring which allows me the opportunity to make the best decisions based on my timelines and finances. Dr. Shah is someone who is warm, kind and understanding which makes going to the dentist less stressful. Even Dr. Moses who has treated me while Dr. Shah was unavailable has provided the same type of warmth and caring. The office is modern, clean and up to date with the latest. You will not be disappointed! From the staff at the front to my care team being a patient at Downtown Dental has been a great experience.

Claire Hygienist was rude and unfriendly. I told her I was nervous and she completely ignored me. She was annoyed that I had refused an xray, started this rant that all dentists go on that there is more radiation in your phone… Dentist barely checked out my teeth. Hygienist berated me again for refusing a xray to the point I was forced to explain the private reason I have for not wanting an xray. They then accepted this, but at this stage damage was done. Sub par examination, painful cleaning and overall rude demeanour.

Ricardo Young Appointments are always on time, had a 2pm appointment today and was in the chair before 2pm. Most pleasant root canal Ive ever had, out in less than 45 mins, no pain outside of the initial numbing injections. Dentists and staff here are great. Highly recommend.

They all go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The office itself is gorgeous. It is super clean and is decorated phenomenally. It does not feel like your typical dentist office that you would normally dread walking into. Our teeth whitening treatment went so well. Our teeth are super white I am so glad we got it done. Essie The dentist is great my root canal didn’t hurt much however every single time I have gone - 4 times in 2 months- my wait is always . With no updates from staff unless you ask. While they are very polite, I only have one off day and constantly having to push around the rest of my appointments and errands because of lack of scheduling competency is not okay. There should not be more than one person being scheduled for the same time if there is only one dentist.

Dr. Horowitz is thorough and clear with her work and findings. Thats cool, but what also amazed me was the amazing Dental Assistant! Her name is Susan. On top of the scan, the cleaning and explaining everything thoroughly she then took the time to show me the details on how to floss. Maybe 5 minutes it took, but this attention to detail is what makes Susan, and the entire office great! Also very clean and courteous, this is simply a great office from top to bottom. Dr. Tracz is such a kind, gentle, and compassionate woman that takes pride in her work. She is so thorough, explaining details and taking pictures to show you each step and document the quality of her work. I am so grateful for her smart and adaptive thinking in repairing my tooth, saving it from endodontics. Its so hard to find a good dentist, and I found mine!! Shoutout to her great DA too, she even moisturized my lips throughout the procedure!

They are committed to making this the most comfortable and pleasurable dental experience you will ever have. They are thorough in their assessment, explain everything, use the most cutting edge technology, and present all your options honestly and objectively. And then there’s this—they are exceptionally kind, courteous, and respectful. Their genuineness is is an absolute refreshment. I had a deep cleaning, couple of fillings and a crown done. I left feeling I couldn’t have gotten better care anywhere else. If you are looking for a dentist, just give them one visit. It will be enough to convince you.

Mac Larkin This is the best dental practice I have ever been to! Everyone I have interacted with has been extremely kind and patient. Ive had both general cleanings and cavities filled here. Normally, I have a strong aversion to going to any doctor, mainly because of a needle phobia. But Dr. Haque and all of the dental hygienists have made my experience stress free. Dr. Haque truly wants you to feel comfortable and safe during any cleaning/procedure. She frequently checked in to make sure I was doing ok and said there wasnt any rush, so if I needed to take a break we could. I cant recommend this place or Dr. Haque enough!

Christopher Hardy Because I am a grown up, I finally went to the dentist for the first time in eighteen years. Importantly, I was never made to feel shame or embarrassment bout this. Everyone in the office, from desk staff, to hygienists, to Dr. Haque was just happy that I had come back to a dentist. As might be expected, I had some work that needed doing (though far less than Id feared). The vibe here is great. No procedure (fillings and a crown) were done with out talking the process and explicitly getting an OK from me to move ahead. I got the idea that No would have been acceptable answer (if undesirable from a health perspective). They were also all very attentive during the visits. My comfort was always looked after? Was I feeling OK? Did I need more lidocaine? Did I need to relax my jaw. Great vibes and great staff. Strongly recommend.

Khadra After doing a lot of research trying to find a dentist I trust- especially for TMD issues, I am so thankful I came across Brooklyn Oak. Dr. Muhammad is always so kind and took the time to create a treatment path that works for me personally. She always takes the time to address all my concerns and answers any questions I have. The staff, especially Tania, are always polite and the office is very clean. I can’t recommend this office enough. She’s the best!

From the moment I stepped in greeted by their very sweet and helpful front desk staff , my dentist was very helpful, professional and very upfront with the procedures. Answered all my questions, discussed thoroughly all the issues that needed to be addressed and all possible options (not just the expensive ones) to meet all necessary procedures and treatment to bring back my smile. Also his assistant was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Inyang Bassey I cannot say enough about the extraordinary standards and level of care at Five Dental. Dr. Chow is so kind, caring, and meticulous (as is every member of his staff). The equipment is state of the art. But its the excellence of care and service that blows my mind every time. I got a night guard from Dr. Chow. These things can be uncomfortable to sleep through the night in if not fit/customized properly. He customized it so perfectly that I sleep even better with it in! He patiently listening to my feedback on the fit and graciously kept adjusting it till it was literally perfect! He really cares...they all do. I honestly cant say enough. After a decade at a Madison Avenue practice that famous people went to, I thought I had it made! Little did I know how limited the time spent on my visits were, and that they never picked up on early signs of gum disease that Dr. Chow noticed immediately! I wonder how long my former dentist would have let it go? Dental care is so expensive. So to know you can trust the assessments, devices, and interventions to be executed with excellence is a gift! Run to this practice lol...its such a relief to have a great dentist :D

I needed a tooth extracted asap as I would be traveling and the office schedule full… I was told that they could fit me in the next day but I had to decline..and then they asked me if I could come in at 5pm. YES!!! The front office staff was wonderful - they explained how my insurance worked and helped me fill out the office paperwork. Dr. Lee was wonderful and put me at ease immediately. He explained everything he was doing. I know this will become my place for all future procedures. The office is lovely and Dr. Lee is the best.

Cynthia San Juan I have not been to the dentist in a long while, so I was fortunate to have this dental office take me in on the same day I called. The Reception area is small but clean & tidy. The lovely assistant in the reception office was kind and patient to help me with obtaining my insurance from my provider.. She led me into the room where I was to see the dentist. Dr. Volotsemko was also nice. Polite and gentle in his demeanor. He explained what I had to do with my teeth, and I was not reluctant to move forward with his advice. Overall my experience was very positive!

He took the time fully go over my dental health, and presented several options on how to resolve my problems. All this was done in a very professional and positive manner. I highly recommend Dr. Dmitriy Volotsenko, Friendly Dental Care, P.C.! Every visit is a positive experience thanks to their incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, clearly explaining procedures and addressing any concerns you might have. I also was treated right on time on my appointments which is extremely convenient. The level of care I receive here is exceptional, from the moment you walk in the door until you leave - truly excellent service all around. Highly recommend!!

Orlando Williams Please do not go here. They will tell you that you have cavity in all sorts of places so they could bill your insurance. I wish I had a second consult somewhere else or I would not be having issues with my perfect healthy tooth that they drilled for nothing. I never had cavities I wish I wasn’t so naive to listen and jump and do the procedure. If they tell you one thing please make sure to confirm with another dentist! And do the procedure at that dentist not here.

Iyana Jorge The place is a ran down shack, and very outdated. Plus had me waiting 2 hours for a cleaning that I never received. When I inquired about wait time with the front desk rep who is very pleasant, I was told there are several people in front of me, I asked why, because I’m here for cleaning , she stated the doctor schedules many patients at the same time for different services, however, there is only 1 doctor there , in which that one doctor does all services. They have 3 rooms, and they’ll call 3 people at a time and sit them in the rooms. If you’re not waiting in the lobby, you’re waiting in one of the rooms. Plus they also have people running a notary public business inside the same office, like a gas station Dunkin’ Donuts and bask in robins. Just very ghetto. Finally they call me and I just decided to go. Ain’t no way I’m not letting nobody that unprofessional and incompetent play in my mouth. The whole business strategy and how they’re running that office is so low class and ghetto. Nope. Too many good dental practices with beautiful offices and updated equipment and doctors with recent and good educational backgrounds here in the city to put up with this. And I will be contacting my insurance grievance department to file a complaint on any claims that may or may not have been made or billed to my insurance on behalf of this office.

Over the years, she has provided me with many dental services, including correcting inferior work and straightening my teeth. Ethan Jankowski I had an accident that left me with a broken smile, and Dr. Wolfe was extremely accommodating. She was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule and repair my teeth within only two days of my incident, and was extremely careful with my injury and the repair itself. I figured I’d have to deal with my teeth for weeks, though she made magic happen! Combined with wonderful staff and an inviting, clean space - though I’m not a fan of being at the dentist - I feel better being in this space than any other.
