I’ve heard many things about a lot of places, but had never heard of Diego’s until I did a google search for the area. Turns out reviews are all good for a reason! He was fast, good priced, and the job he did was amazing! Definitely recommend going to see him if you’re in the area and need a haircut!

Frank Lincoln Craig does a top notch job, from simple trims to fades, plus he’s super patient with kids!

Greg Schramm Craig is a master of barbering. Its not just a quick haircut and go. Its a trip to an iconic type of barber shop where you have great conversation as well as a hair cut that takes you back to days past. He takes care of the little things big box chain places forget about, and pays attention to detail. If you havent tried Diegos, I recommend you do. And for the early birds, Craig is usually open for business around 5a.m.. Thats right, 5a.m.!

Mara Beier Ash has been my stylist for almost 10 years and is the only person I let touch my hair. I have naturally curly hair and she knows exactly what to do to make it look beautiful for both curly and blown out looks. She is a wonderful human and I always love seeing her. The space is sparkling clean and contained from other people, and I felt totally safe and comfortable for my first haircut back since quarantine. There is a reason she has so many longstanding clients - she is truly the best.

Tori Cohen Ash is exactly what Ive been looking for! Since the pandemic began Ive been afraid to go get my hair done but Ashley made me feel incredibly comfortable and did everything in her power to ensure a safe and clean space. I asked to see her alone and she made that happen easily. In addition, the hair cut is awesome and she empowered me to keep my natural hair color (with an upgrade), which has been growing out since March anyways. I will definitely be going back!

Joan Borden I first met Ash when she rescued me from a really bad hair experience & brought my curls back to life. I have been working with her since then: probably about 15 years. She is always kind & her salon has a relaxing atmosphere. She listens to what I want to do with my hair and offers her advice which has always served me. I refer friends & family to her. She’s fabulous! I highly recommend her.

Sarah Depew I have been with Ash for almost 10 years. Even when I lived in the middle of Brooklyn, off of the G train, I would travel to the Upper East Side to have Ash do my hair. No one does color like her. She is an artist. She is able to perfectly translate my requests ("natural looking, but not dull, but not too flashly, but with depth...") into the perfect hair color. I do not trust anyone else with my color. And, she is an all around lovely person!!!!

Jackie Katz Ash is absolutely AMAZING ! Not Only has she given me the best haircut I have ever had I have also been wearing tape in hair extensions for years and ash perfectly placed every single piece of hair and it was so comfortable to wear everyday! She styled my hair with the most beautiful beach waves to! She also educated me on what I needed to do at home to properly maintain the look she created for me! Not only was my hair gorgeous but she provides a luxurious but chill experience! Recomend 10/10 !!! Go see ash!

She worked with me on a style and color, I have curly and box dyed hair so she had a lot to work with. She was able to cut my bangs to a desired length that fits me when my hair dries and I wear it how I usually like to. She did an amazing job and will definitely trust her again with my curls and any future color!

Vera Kuss Very clean colorful and professional salon! Free parking easy to access and get to in Auburn. I live out of the town about 45 minutes away and it is well worth the pleasant drive. The hairdressers are very good at their job! They offer a full compliment of services too. The building is a deep blue not red when you google it.

Sabrina singleton My son is very very picky, he will not see any other barber but Roy! When we walked in there my son had a hard time getting a comb through his hair, it is so thick and nappy! Roy took his time, was patient and cut my son’s hair exactly as requested! He listened to what my son wanted, he didn’t cut it any other way but how my son wanted it cut! He cut his top perfect which allowed him to get a comb through his hair again! He was so good with my son! Roy has a great personality, he’s very talented, and his work is impeccable! If you’re sick of your same barber or just plain need a cut I’d recommend him all day! 5 stars!

Benjamin Simpson Decided to give Roy a shot after relocating to Auburn about a year ago, and I am so glad I did! As soon as you set foot in the shop, you can tell Roy is truly an artist at his craft, curating an exceptional atmosphere and producing even better results. I have not been able to get anyone to use a straight razor on me since leaving NC and coming back to NY over seven years ago. Roy treats his craft differently, using the straight razor and hot towel on every customer unless they ask him not to. I received a beard shape up, the best haircut Ive had in years, a hot towel, and even attention to my eyebrows for less than I am used to paying for a haircut alone. If youre looking for a great haircut or beard trim/reshape, an excellent atmosphere, and an authentic barbershop experience, Roy is your man!

Benjamin This man does not miss! I had my second appointment with Roy today, and I had the same great experience I had initially. I was early and Roy was able to converse with both myself and his current client. A third man came in who had mistaken his appointment date, and Roy was able to professionally and quickly assist in getting it figured out. All in all, awesome atmosphere, great conversation, attention to detail, and my girlfriend thinks Im handsome again lol. I really wish I had started coming here sooner.

Emylee Raymond I got my hair colored and cut by Caitlyn! She was so sweet and knowledgeable and did my hair exactly how I wanted! 1,000,000/10 recommend her!! The salon is also decorated adorably and very clean!! I truly cannot recommend enough!

Will Juntunen Act two. I strolled home after breakfast at the dinerant. I missed getting a haircut Saturday because I didnt spot a barber shop open on Genesee Street. On the sidewalk at Genesee and Seminary Street, I spotted a lean-to sign that read, "Cutathon" for Logan, Noon until Four. I stepped inside, paid ten dollars. A woman sitting on her barber stool smiled and waved me over. "I thought about shaving it all off", I said to her. "Why take your hair into your own hands. I can blend in the sides with the top perfectly for you. Cowlicks, unusually curly hair, I have seen it all". She went to work. It looked trim and professional when she finished, holding up a mirror so I could see for myself. "May I tip you"? "Yes, Ill just give it to Logan. Hes fighting cancer". "Thank you for volunteering to help Logan", and I set two crisp dollars on their side by her razor. All ten chairs were full with men and women getting a Sunday cut. I looked in a mirror by the door before stepping out into the cold. After every haircut, I see more grey appearing in my hair.

Trudy Falter I recommend this place! I went there planning on getting a spiral perm but when i got there Carrie said that my hair looked over -processed and I should wait . So I then asked her what I should do , she then recommended the products I needed to get my hair s moisture back. She gave me a hair cut .This was very helpful and I am glad that I went there.

From the moment I met Kansas and Courtney, they made me feel at home and confident that anything could be done. We arrived at 7 in the morning and all 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms and myself got our hair and makeup done by 11 on the dot. The ladies were professional and extremely kind...we were able to make ourselves at home and had a great time relaxing while they worked. All the updos and makeup looked amazing throughout the whole day and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend these ladies over any other location for any big event! You will not find a better experience, higher quality, or better price!

There are several booths in there with hairstylists that are also very good with lots of years of experience. Highly recommended.
