Dallas Plummer I came here today on Thanksgiving Day, 2024. From the registration department, to the triage nurse to the ER doctor, to the x-ray room expeditor and x-ray technician, everyone was extremely pleasant. They felt my pain and they they were very cheerful. This is my fourth visit here and each time I was here, they had medical department great customer service. I had terrible pain in my left knee and we took an x-ray and are waiting for the diagnosis. Some people had terrible experiences but mine has been of exceeding pleasantness.

KFeld Dr. Pomichter is a great doctor...he has all the attributes that you wish for in a PCP...he is compassionate yet firm, thorough, knowledgeable, professional and given how busy he is, he still manages to spend as much time with you as you need. His staff is incredible...they return (and answer) phone calls immediately for prescription refills, referrals or emergency calls. I never have to sit for long in the waiting room--they are ready for me at my scheduled time. We are so lucky to have him. He is one of the finest doctors I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mary Ann Roche Dr. Pomichter is wonderful with my developmentally disabled, elderly person! He takes the time to go over every little detail with us and treats my little lady like she is his grandmother. It is not often in my profession that I see a doctor so caring and gentle with my elderly folks. I would highly recommend Dr. Pomichter to anyone!

Shaina Graziano Dr. Amin gave me my quality of life back! I found Dr. Amins office and it was the best thing that couldve happened to me. Her and the staff have the best bedside manner. I have been through two surgeries with Dr. Amin and her staff. Both have been great(and successful) experiences. Dr. Amin listens, and addresses any questions or concerns in a caring manner. Wait times are short to none in the office, and the nurses always call you back if you call with a question or need medical advice. The front desk is excellent are well and generally can get someone on the phone immediately(they always call back the same day). Basically Dr. Amin is an outstanding doctor and she works with a wonderful group of people. The office is very clean as well. I would highly recommend her if you need a doctor for any of the conditions she treats. Shes very honest and caring!

Alicia Genova Dr. Negandhi is my onc. I’ve had two others. She is what was missing before. She celebrates the successes with me and includes me in treatment rationale with researched treatment protocols. The nurses show individual attention and warmth. The staff follows-up when I forget things and sets up scan scheduling calls for me. The receptionist fields complicated questions that I call with efficiently without things falling through cracks.

A McKiernan I recently completed chemotherapy at the NYOH Hudson infusion center. While its true what they say, chemo sucks, my experience with Melissa and Liz, the infusion nurses, was fabulous. Not only are these ladies experienced and phenomenal at their job, they are genuinely caring and compassionate while they do it. When the bumps in the road come, Melissa and Liz quickly and efficiently address the issues. While I certainly hope to never require chemo again, if I do, I wont hesitate to drive over an hour, past multiple other infusion centers, to be cared for by these two incredible nurses!

brittany decker This practice is completely unprofessional. I was seeing Mcnulty for a migraine issue. When I was prescribed something else by another provider for another issue he flat out refused to change the migraine medication that he prescribed even through there was a severe drug interaction between the two. His exact words where “go to a university hospital I shouldn’t have to change the prescription that I provide to you because another provider gave you something else” This to me is uncalled for as there are a ton of medications on the market. He simply didn’t care and was totally disrespectful. I will never step foot in this practice again I did end up filing a complaint with NYS department of health.

Kay Disbrow KIND Dr. Koszer is very KIND. It is not hard to find a competent neurologist, but my experience has not found any that treated me with such respect and kindness. His staff, especially Lisa, are equally welcoming. Dr Koszer has been very intuitive about which meds would be right for me. I always look forward to my appointments with him and he always responds to my phone calls

Tim Irish This person is undoubtedly the worst physician in a county noted for its sub-par assortment of doctors. He is unknowlegeable, clumsy, rude, utterly unrofessional and squarely at the bottom of the heap of that malpractice mill of a hospital. That CMA would place this stooge in its hospitalist program is reason enough to skip this dirty, run-down non-hospital altogether. In the depths of his ignorance, I suppose this boob rates half a star for occasionally washing his shaky hands. Avoid him at all costs.

Ccc Dear Patient Relations Team, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services I recently experienced at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/Herbert Irving Pavilion. I have several serious concerns: 1. Lack of Translation Services: I do not speak English, and during my interactions with the hospital, no one offered translation assistance. When I called, I expected support to communicate effectively, but this was not provided, making it very difficult for me to understand or be understood. 2. Unauthorized Changes to My Appointment: My appointment time and doctor were changed without my knowledge or consent. I was not informed or asked for approval, which is unacceptable. 3. Switch to a Nurse Practitioner: My appointment was reassigned from a doctor to a nurse practitioner without my agreement. This change was made without any explanation or discussion with me, and I am not comfortable with it. These issues have caused me significant frustration and inconvenience. I request an explanation for why these problems occurred and what steps will be taken to address them. I also urge the hospital to ensure translation services are available for non-English-speaking patients like me in the future. Please respond to me in writing at this email address, and if needed, you can contact me at my phone number

Did not follow up with a promised call regarding my blood test. Seems like she is overwhelmed. I will be seeking another doctor.

Casey ODell The most disgusting receptionist rats Ive ever had to deal with. I CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A MEDICAL ISSUE!!! My primary care doctor moved and they gave me a new one a while back. They kept trying to get an appointment but I work nights and its hard to do anything on a good day plus I wasnt sick. Within the call I had with miss awful- I said if Im not sick why did I have to do the appointment? Isnt that a money grab? ( I need to pay a co-pay for an appointment when not sick is not something I can afford) and I followed up with. If I come to the establishment appointment with new doctor, will the medical issue I have be treated then or do I have to book another appointment as well ( i would have booked the other appointment as well while on the phone hence asking). Apparently, Im hostile and need to be sent to a managers voice mail. Oh I left a voice mail. So, I called back to book an appointment, they kept putting me on hold, telling I need the manager or hang up on me. I kept calling back... wonder why? Because I need medical care!!!!!!!!!! The one receptionist was gaslighting me and tried to tell me Im not even a patient their . I called back ten times asking to schedule an appointment. I guess the receptionists determine if you get care or not. That utterly disgusting and negligent because your in the medical profession. When I had CANCER I had to see a primary care doctor once a month. Hope no one has to try to book an appointment with them because they are un-equipment morally to book it. The shame is I was a receptionist for 8 years, I never did that. Its was my job and I did it. Pandemic has made terrible people in positions they shouldnt be in. I would terminate all of them immediately if I was their boss. You book patients who are sick immediately so they get their care. Instead receptionists have to answer questions and they get upset and have tantrums. Every time I deal with them they are utterly awful, save ur life & health and go elsewhere. They should be a shamed of themselves.

Kristen Ledesma I had to take my husband to the ER yesterday, and I was very impressed! It was clearly a very busy day for the hospital, but the staff kept things organized and kept people moving along. Once my husband got taken back, I was impressed with how quickly they got him hooked up to an IV, started treating him, and ran a myriad of tests. Every staff member we dealt with was pleasant and professional, and shout out to Nurse Denise who handled the majority of my husbands care. Thank you for taking great care of both of us.

Andrea Diaz The worse ER place in history, have tried this place 3 times in 4 different years had problems breathing told me I had to wait 3 hours other time a child was vomitting crying in pain the mom kept pleading with staff to take her son in, staff said he had to had to wait. Another time told me, wait time was 3-4 hours if I wanted to go somewhere else to go there. They need to either hire more doctors or investigate this place, it is ridiculous.

Todd Seekircher Absolutely, mind-bogglingly horrible experience. Its almost as if New York Presbyterian is in the business of bad customer experience and PROFIT and zero to do with taking care of peoples health. 1. They are short on primary care physicians 2. Our physician was booking 6+ months out for a physical, went on medical leave, our appointments were canceled with no way to then get our physical unless we switched doctors. Our physician assured us NYP had good "coverage" for her while she was out. NYP would not let another doctor do the appointment unless we formally switched PCPs, at which point we would not be allowed to switch back to our original PCP. 3. When trying to get a (long time) prescription re-filled while our doctor was out, NYP wanted to charge for a telehealth visit, but also NOT allow that doctor to do the annual physical 4. Heard, through the grapevine, not from NYP, that our PCP was no longer on leave, but had left the practice. Called to try to get a new doctor at this location- after 20 minutes on the phone booking dates in July and October because (shocker!) this new doctor is also out on medical leave until then, I was told we would have to have a preliminary "intro" visit with this new doctor because we are new patients, even though Ive been going to this doctors office my whole adult life. Oh, and this intro visit would have a copay charge attached to it. 5. I could continue further but will instead spend the time researching other practices to find a new PCP

Linda Roca Review Title: Disappointed with Service and Lack of Empathy I recently had an appointment today at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley - Endocrinology - Cold Spring and unfortunately had a very negative experience. I was running late due to unexpected contractions and, despite my best efforts, couldn’t call ahead because I was driving. When I arrived, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful, which only added to my stress during an already difficult time. I’ve been feeling unwell for the past three weeks and needed to see my regular doctor, who doctor santos she didn’t want see because I was late however I been horrible unwell. After they made other appointments for November 20 2024 I hoped that the staff would be understanding of my situation, but instead, I felt dismissed and unvalued as a patient. I live 40 minutes away, and I chose this facility hoping for better care, but my experience was far from what I expected. I would not recommend NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley - Endocrinology - Cold Spring based on my experience. It’s essential for healthcare providers to show empathy and understanding, especially in situations where patients are in distress. I hope they can improve their service and treatment of patients in the future.( however I know they won’t improve their services)

Hoop Artisan My friend went to the ER at night (Sunday, April 24th) for a staph infection that went septic. They refused to take her vitals or give her blood work, the night nurse looked right at her and said "we have better things to do here" and discharged her. 2 days later, she went to Northern Dutchess and got proper care. Northern Dutchess informed her that had she not sought medical attention, she would have been dead within 12 hours. Steer clear of Columbia-Greene at all costs. They came so close to murdering my friend who is only 28, imagine what theyll do to your elderly and disabled loved ones.
