Ordered a cut and Digital Perm with Celine and wasn’t disappointed in the slightest! Celine was very nice, professional, and informative with my hair, especially letting me know that a digital perm wasn’t necessary and instead helped me with a down perm and charged me with that instead!
While cost may be a little high, what you’re paying for isn’t necessarily the haircut, but the quality and professionalism that comes with it. the staff here are very courteous and kind! They offer refreshments of your choosing if you are thirsty and also sell hair products that will help maintain the longevity of the haircut you got! If you have a hairstyle in mind, make sure to have reference photos/videos so that the stylists may help you achieve your desired hair style!
TL;DR - An amazing place with amazing hairstylist and staff! While expensive, it’s worth the cost. 10/10 and make sure you book with CELINE! Shes absolutely wonderful! Can’t wait to go again!
Palms Salon - New York MeHegan Fenner: After searching for a salon in NYC for months, I found not only the best salon but the MOST talented, friendly and genuine stylist I could ever image. Gigi has perfected the blonde I have desired for years and always makes me feel at home at every appointment. With her "no challenge she cant handle" motivation and excellent customer service, I will always be one of her clients and let everyone know about Palms Salon. Gigi also has helped my hair become healthier than ever by recommending the incredible products they offer.
One Salon - New York Alexandra Rodriguez: Excellent experience! I love my new look! Jeshi did an amazing job with my balayage and cut. I’m so happy and would recommend 100%. Their attention is superior; they really listen to what you want and deliver exactly the results you expect. Love it, love it—definitely will be back!
Christo Fifth Avenue - Curly Hair Salon NYC - New York LoMo Phillips: So glad I found my curly hair salon in NYC! The salon was clean, chill, and large. Marianna did a fantastic job with my hair and took the time to give lots of tips on how I could style it better. She did the PERFECT hair cut - did away with the split ends, but still kept the length. I felt very well taken care of, and while a bit more pricey, I think it was well worth it given the entire experience. Will definitely be keeping Christo as my go-to salon!
NYC THE TEAM- hair salon - New York Lorraine Wong: I was just in town visiting, but REALLY needed my hair colored. I was staying in the area and this had the highest reviews… I can totally see why! Once you get up to the 7th floor, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and all of the staff are super friendly. I made an appointment for cut and color and by luck, I got Michelle (the owner), for my color. My home colorist was making it too brassy and I needed to tone it down, but still have a nice dynamic shade. Michelle totally nailed it. The haircut with Paulina was equally amazing. She cleaned up my layers and gave me a cool, modern update to my haircut that moves really well. I’d say it’s expensive (because I’m not from the area) but I think this is what most salons in the area charge, so I don’t think it’s a negative. And of course, you get what you pay for. I also just saw their Insta page and think Blake Lively was just here and I always think she has such gorgeous color. Worth a visit!
Royal Hair Salon - New York Jack Baker: Royal Hair Salon is amazing! Great stylists and beautiful new space. I have been going to the owner, Sura, for years and he is an iconic stylist and master at his craft. He has a very loyal following so might be hard to book with him but I’m sure all the stylist there are great. This is my go to place in NYC. Can’t do better and the price is reasonable.
Hair Lounge NYC - New York Danielle Ruff: I am often picky with my blowouts/hair stylists and I was very pleased with my services here! I got a blowout with Leah before my birthday party, and felt super confident, with a lot of my friends complimenting my hair. She is a true professional, along with the rest of the staff. Highly recommend!
Shear Bliss NYC Salon - New York Samantha Seaman: Shear Bliss is my one stop shop for all of my hair needs. The staff is super welcoming, accommodating and friendly. My stylist, Michelle, never disappoints! I trust her work and I’m always leaving the salon feeling brought back to life. See you in a couple months!
AEREA SALON NYC - New York Georgia Little: I have been coming to Alex for years and I wish I found him sooner! Before I found Alex it was hard to find someone who was consistent with my highlights. Every time I walk in I know I am going to leave loving my hair. Even if I wasn’t happy with the highlights I know he would stay however long it took to get it right. He once did my hair on Christmas at 6 am!!! He cares about all of his clients and always goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of. He listens to what his clients want and is consistent. If you come to the salon you will see every chair filled and it’s for a reason. He is a great listener, professional, knowledgeable, and a hard worker. You won’t regret coming to Alex.
Art of Hair salon NYC - New York Kate V: I came to Lilly to get my roots touched up, as well as to fix orange banding from a previous colorist. She recommended we do a keratin treatment for blondes, which I’m glad I did because it helped prevent hair breakage and loss during the bleach treatment. My hair felt amazing! She then fixed the banding and touched up my roots which was an incredibly difficult task because my hair was in very bad shape, with various shades of blonde and yellow and lots of breakage.
Not only did she fix it without any breakage, she did it in about 3 hours! Usually my double process takes 5+ hours. And my hair felt soft, when usually bleaching will make it feel dry.
Her salon space was very clean, she was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to my concerns/ communication. I don’t have great pictures but I’m including before and after photos.
