They busted their butt to get motion and strength back for me. Buffalo is fortunate to have this resource and I am blessed to have met them!

Caitlin Kunichika Just WOW! The staff is amazing and the process was so easy and honestly ideal for littles! We reserved a time and when we got there we were seen without 5 minutes of our scheduled time. This was a drive for us (about 50 mins) but it beats having to wait in an ER or urgent care waiting room for an extended amount of time with a sick toddler. I highly recommend this place and will continue to make the trip when we need to

Tom Brown The on line scheduling was very user friendly although did not appear to reduce our wait time once in the office. The receptionist was great, very friendly. There X-ray tech was somewhat dismissive of my son’s discomfort as he tried to cooperate with positioning his hand for the scan. Although the PA was knowledgeable, he was rude and seemed inconvenienced by our presence. Worst of all, he made an incredibly rude comment to my son who had explained that he suffered a hand fracture the year before following an altercation at school, but that this injury was sustained while goofing around with friends. The PA responded by saying that if my son were 18 years of age he could be arrested. We went to this urgent care visit for medical treatment, not judgement. This PA knows nothing about my son. His comment was unprofessional and unwarranted. I will second guess ever returning, and would tell friends and family the same. I would never recommend this provider.

Reminded constantly that you are not alone and the support is there for you. Dr Sanders sits and answers all your questions. You leave feeling so well informed and ready to start your journey. The medical staff and nursing staff are amazing! Especially Brooke, she is a blessing for me. Worked so hard to help me when things were tossed at me and I couldn’t navigate them. She stepped in and saved the day! Always reminded me I wasn’t alone and she was only a phone call away. Went above and beyond to get me to surgery day. Amazing staff and amazing doctors and amazing facilities! No regrets

Allen Smith I have always been well taken care of during my recovery from kidney cancer. I travel from S GA for my treatments at Roswell Park CCC. I travel so far because I have confidence in the Drs and staff and trust them to take care of my needs. I have recommended this facility to others here in the Southland and anywhere a person may be.

Jim Calarco My experience has been very good. The doctor and staff I come in contact with are always helpful and friendly and the patient portal is good too. Recently they have taken steps to improve my wait time which has turned out really well. Roswell is easy to get to and you can either valet park your car, or, there is a convenient ramp right across the street that has a enclosed walkway for bad weather. If you are a patient you also get a discounted rate of $4.00 for the ramp. If you have a need for Roswell services do your own research and check your insurance but I am happy they are available to me.

Shelley Wojtaszczyk It feels like a jail in there. The building is beautiful, but to get anywhere except the cafeteria or restroom, you need to be buzzed in or an escort. Cant even walk in the front door without the 3rd degree through an intercom on the wall; "State your business.". (even associates from that company who work at another site get treated like this.)

x It’s always a pleasure interfacing with everyone at the DOH, particularly the Nash Health Center. Everyone is extremely kind, and they even remember people from years ago. Results are fast for STI testing, they have tons of free stuff upstairs. I always have a giant smile when I come here because it’s such a pleasant experience. This is how state services should be run. I am more than happy to give the state my tax money because this center is a stellar example of useful public services. To all the workers, thank you very much! I appreciate y’all beyond words.

(271) Reviews VA WNY Healthcare System - Veteran’s Hospital:

Jon Nichols Im writing to share my experiences with the VAs in-patient Mental Health / Substance Abuse program as I was unable to find any such reviews before I arrived. I hope future veterans find this helpful. I have gone through similar programs elsewhere at other VA clinics and feel equipped to compare them. This VA in-patient ward is very small, with only 10 people in the wing as I am writing, with space for up double as there are two beds in each room. The programming is designed as something of a gap program for those who needed detox and are enroute to longer term treatment at larger facilities, such as Bath, NY. The program is the most locked down of any clinic Ive been to, with any movement off the ward in the company of staff. Access to anything not inside of the one hallway is available only when the staff can accommodate the Veteran. The items one can bring onto the floor are similarly limiting, with even hair clippers and electric razors kept from Veterans. Unlike other clinics, this is very much a hospital environment in every sense. Basic medications such as Advil, nicotine lozenges, and multivitamins are kept under lock and key and require the nurses for administration. Every event, including AA NA, rec events such as fishing, painting, or shuffle board, are mandatory. All classes are done as a group, and designed for the lowest common denominator. The absence of choice in the most basic of decisions feel more appropriate for people coming from prison who need it, and not for Veterans coming from a largely functional life who are requesting an educational environment of focused learning. The standard duration of stay is 28 days. As a glaring stand-out to these measures, veterans with 14 days in the program can request 8 hour passes on the weekends. The staff are a pleasure and appear to be as frustrated with the rule restrictions as the Veterans. A few staff members have stated that the rules used to be lax before covid, but have not been relaxed since. This is a fine facility for anyone needing a halfway step between a detox ward and a larger VA facility with more class/group options, resources, and responsibilities. This may not be the right place for Veterans not requiring that level of handholding.

Phillip Toney Absolutely terrible! 4 days before my daughters surgery, they cancel the surgery. We have been jumping through hoops for over a year with the ENT doctor to have this surgery and now we are told they cannot do it because of the patients body mass index. Catholic health is the new owners of ambulatory surgery have created new guidelines. Catholic health is the reason my daughter cannot have this surgery.

Dan Stachelski III The treatment and care that this center gives its patients is beyond what I ever expected. Every interaction with nurses and the anesthesiologist was positive and reassuring. Knowing that this was my first surgery, they explained things to me and calmed my nerves beforehand. During my surgery, my parents received texts from the center to let them know were I was in the process - from pre-op to post-op. Thank you to all the staff and the anesthesiologist who took care of me. If I ever need surgery again, I would feel so comfortable coming here. The team is amazing and its evident that they love what they do here and have a genuine care for each individual patient. This was the most peaceful medical experience Ive ever had or witnessed. Many thanks and keep up the amazing work!

Donald Fox On Oct 11, 2024 my Father went in for an outpatient heart procedure having a watchman implanted by Dr Chee Kim. The device dislodged during his recovery period, caused a cardiac arrest, and subsequently he lost enough oxygen that it damaged his brain and he remained unresponsive for a week. No one advised me of his cardiac arrest until after the emergency surgery. Dr. Mohammad Ashraff did the emergency surgery and conveyed that night that my father was recovering peacefully and that his vitals were good. The charge nurses told me the same. Next morning 10/12 I get a call from a CT tech who informed me Dad was having seizure symptoms and that he was actually on a ventilator and not breathing on his own. Thought the week I had doctors and nurses assuring me that when the temporary pacemaker could be removed an MRI could further tell what was wrong. All the while come to find out his blood was too thin to remove the device and he developed CDIF too. A nurse named Eric chewed me out for using the term life support and I got more information about his condition from a mid level named Alison than I from either Kim or Ashraff. Ive had better communication come from drug dealers and Crack addicts. Their neurological team was pathetic and couldnt relay updates when they said they would. No one can tell me why there was a 3 hour gap between the time they discovered the device dislodged, and when they actually got him in for emergency surgery. My father was suppose to have come home, not wound up a corpse. A week and a half went by and no one had even done a device review. Today marks one month since his death and I still have no answers. I stood outside of Gates Vascular hold signs and sharing this horror story with random passerbys. All the while getting smurky smug looks by anyone who gave off the vibe they worked there. So horrifying that their staff thought my display was a joke. May the Lord have mercy on them all because as far as Im concerned they can be sent to the pits of Hell. I have regular night terrors about what happened to my Father there.

D Leavell Dr dryjski is not a good doctor. His bedside manor is sub par. I got new doctor and got done in twenty minutes what I couldnt get done in two months with him. Btw theres no nursing staff as stated by woman who answered phones. If he cant attend to patients on a fairly regular pace then he should retire.

Matt Pasternak It doesn’t surprise me other reviews on this page talking about money grab appointment’s and just wasting your time. I trusted this place with my health and being hung up on repeatedly by the staff here has lead me to writing this review. You don’t hang up on people that are following up after another hospital visit because this place has failed as a health provider. The appointment I’m Still waiting on should have been suggested months ago but since I’m dealing with a bunch of pill pushers that don’t believe in dangerous medication interactions, I’m forced to wait like 8 visits to the ER in 2 months is normal. This place deserves to be investigated.

Ben Stanford They are great to get your scripts and the front desk staff are really great. I reported a concern that I was told would be looked into. Been about two weeks and no word. If they call to schedule an appointment, make sure theres a legitimate reason. Seems like they dont respect time and will call to have you come in for bs reasons. Money grabs maybe idk. Make sure they state why theyre requesting you come in and make sure its a service you want. They had me come in to meet a physician who wasnt actually going to be my physician, and then never returned my request for follow up.
