clinton calloway I recently visited CarFix -Sheridan, after seeing their oil change special advertising on a sign out in front of their business. Service advisor Jeremiah Siulc offered me a complete vehicle inspection at no cost and I accepted. Following completion of the above mentioned inspection a report was provided for my review. I found the report to be accurate and thorough. After consulting with Jeremiah a work plan was established and executed. The customer service repair work and attention to detail was exceptional. I also found the prices very reasonable and fair.

Frida I brought my car here after buying it from a dealership that claimed it was in perfect condition no accidents, no issues. Something felt off, so I came for a second opinion, and I’m so thankful I did. The team was honest and detailed, showing me everything that was wrong with the car including proof that it had been in an accident and had multiple hidden issues. The workers here are amazing super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They gave me all the information I needed without any pressure. I’m incredibly grateful for their help and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this shop if you want honest service you can trust.

Steven Ortolano Ive been going there for years. Family owned, father/son operation. Still, the most honest mechanics and fair prices in town. Im glad I knew the owner, Chris, through past relations 20+ years ago because shops like this arent so easy to find. In many cases, I got the honest diagnosis when others tried over charging, recommending/lying about what the real problem was. Thank you, Chris and Todd, at C&C !!

alex Honest shop. They trust the customer therefore I trust them. Smaller shop w one lift so call ahead to get an appointment day but can’t beat the neighborhood convenience and good straightforward work.

They coordinated between my insurance company and car rental, kept me updated on the progress of the repair, and completed it within the timeframe given. The completed work was outstanding. Mik Lunas From day one Gail explained the whole process and followed through every step of the way. The parts line up well and the computers work accordingly. Paint is a good match . It took a while longer than expected due to parts delay.

David Otis I went into the shop today and it was not a great experience. Joe was very rude to me I’m telling him what was wrong with my truck and he never came over to talk to me never looked at my truck. I’ve been in his shop about 10 years ago and this is not the same man I met before. What happened. to Joe So if you look like me don,t give him your business

Tim Brick Super nice guy. Asked him to do a bunch of stuff to my car (including install some aftermarket parts I didnt want to buy from the dealer); he did it quickly, professionally, and for a good price. Ill be taking my car back for whatever else comes down the road.

Bill Conroy Owner operated and convient location for South Buffalo. Friendly atmosphere and with three bays, about the only thing that will hold you up is parts. As far as price they will work with you, but you get what you pay for. Theyve been in business a long time at the same location. I give them a thumbs up.

Kathryn B Honest and fair and fast. I have taken my vehicles there for years. Nice clean garage with knowledgeable mechanic. Ray and David are the first I could ever trust. The work is done right and never had any issues after getting back on the road.

Aung Aung Hlaing I am a new driver in Buffalo so my car was full of scratches and damage due to my restless driving. I feel embarrassed of that and I have an inferiority complex when I see the same type of my car by others on the road. In November, 2024, I got a big scratch on left side. So I went to this workshop and Elvis carefully assessed the damage and gave me the price which is more affordable than the famous auto body shops in Buffalo with shorter period of time. He got my car ready on the same day that he promised. I didn’t recognize my car. I recognize it with my license plate. UNBELIEVABLE! It is like a brand new car. My friends asked me if I get a new car after their excellent works! Absolutely FIVE STARs!

Nathan DeNeef Wish I could give them no star. So got into an accident with a deer and Carson stated he does body work. We decided to give him the chance and never again will we be going back. One of the visors is still completely broke and he told us to bring it back to have that replaced as it was part of the repair. We called Mona and asked for them to make it right. Well almost a week later and we haven’t gotten a single call back with an answer. Car had damage done to roof. Still while driving I can hear something rattling between the roof like there’s a loose piece of metal. Sadly they have already been paid for all the work and it’s not complete. I had another car worked on there and when I received that back I found a mouse nest in my glove box and everything was replaced with used parts causing my one headlight to be different.

Brittany Shultz Wish I could give no stars! My Rav came back to me still very broken. One visor still hanging, my trunk doors electric isnt hooked up right from when they cut the roof off, there is something rattling in my roof, trim on the outside comes off when driving, pieces of my temperature gage still missing, my windows dont work anymore. This a family vehicle I dont wanna be scared to drive my kid not know whats up top rattling that could hurt us if God for bid another accident happens. Almost $11,000 in repair and they cant fix it safely? Called my car insurance company and the company is taking it into their hands and valley will not be happy. Wouldnt be surprised if this is the end of them!

Anthony Torres Dudes great at fixing cars.He doesn’t get a chance to answer his phone bc he’s always got customers will be making this guy my main mechanic might have your car for a little longer then expected but it’s worth it

larry rej Bought my 2021 silverado new at the big chevy dealer of course. But I believe in giving the little local garages a chance. Read their reviews and got my brakes done there....very happy and will go back there if I need future work! No complaints.....

Turps Diesel This place is amazing. I ran over a nail today while heading south. Stopped in and they fixed me up immediately. I was out in less then 30 min. Super awesome customer service. Very nice staff. Amazing price. Highly recommend. Being from out of town, I couldnt ask for a better experience.

Nancy Austin Staff were very kind, friendly & helpful. My tires were rotated within an hour. As a bonus, I was very pleasantly surprised, to have the rotation done free of charge, since I was a regular customer & have had similar service in the past. Laura Jensen Replaced speed sensor, never finished the job and caused an issue that could have damaged my transmission. Ignored me when contacted about the issue. Stay away.

Ghost Mcduffie Listen man Lou is the truth! I was referred to him by a different car shop because other than being one of the best mechanics in buffalo he’s a BMW specialist! I have a bmw 550i , my dream car and I won’t take it to just anyone. I was shocked by Lou’s knowledge and professionalism. I pulled up to his shop and right after he was finished with another customer he immediately got my car on a lift and found the issue I had. I needed my front axle repaired. After two dealerships gave me 2 different diagnostics. I needed a new passenger axle. He ordered the bmw specific part & got my car running back to feeling I had when I drove it off the lot! And led I went to the dealer I would have paid 10 times the amount that Lou gave me! Worth every penny. Will be a customer for life! #Justfixit

Derek Fantastic experience here, these guys are super friendly and will figure out how to fix your car. My friend and I are visiting from out of state, and needed work done before we could make the long drive home. Nearly every other place was closed at 5:30 pm, but these guys still worked on our car past their listed closing time. They totally saved us. By far the best customer service you could ask for, and his car is running great now. Would recommend them to anyone

Jose Lugo Absolutely Fair for auto repair. Both my vehicles are now ready for State inspections. I got a quote for $1,500 somewhere else he was literally half of that price. He goes above and beyond and really cares about his customers.

Jill Zavidowsky I have a very old 2003 Ford expedition with low miles and a new engine and I’ve taken excellent care of it and yet it was leaking oil and I didn’t know what was going on. But I’m keeping this car for the rest of my life because I had it painted professionally three Michelin tires put on a sound system and a rear facing camera put in at Best Buy for only $800 so you see I have quite an investment in Rosie. Everything they did was top notch every single thing I have a copy of the report on my Gmail, I have a printed out copy. I know the exact cost of everything. I will be coming back when my teacher pension . In about 10 days. They are simply wonderful, hands-down wonderful!✡️

John Huff My lifelong mechanic just sold their business. They recommended me to this place. They were very nice and professional. I had an inspection done. They only insisted I needed one thing done and it was completed the same day and for a very reasonable price.

Moe Oren Amazing Service and Great Prices! Scruggs Automotive Repair was fantastic! I dropped my car off, and they had it taken care of in no time. The price was unbelievable — while other shops quoted me $800 for the same job, Scruggs only charged $230! The quality of service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them, and I’ll definitely be bringing my car back here for any future services.

Nicole Mason Bought my Volvo used and saw the previous owners had spent thousands of dollars trying to fix the AC. It was intermittent at best when I got it, so took it to Eric and he immediately recognized the problem, and had it fixed at an extremely low price later that week. It’s been running flawlessly ever since. This is the ONLY place you should take your Volvo to for maintenance! You will quickly see just how thoroughly he understands these cars and can perform efficient and long-lasting repairs. Highly recommend!

Benjamin Brown Eric and Universal Auto are fantastic to work with. If you own a European this is the place to go. Eric is by far the easiest and most transparent mechanic I’ve gone to. I’ve never felt “sold” to for excess repairs. This is a one man show shop but I’ve never felt my service took longer than normal and Eric is always responsive. Also, he’s just a plain nice guy. He’s great to chat with and you might just learn something about your car in the process. A+!
