Mary Burkart I just got home from having a hip replacement yesterday, and was blown away by not only the medical expertise that was evident (Dr. Frank Lombardo of Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone), but also the incredible care that is given to each and every patient. I was in the Medical/Surgical South Unit...an attractive unit with small, private rooms. A special shout-out goes to Brandi, my nurse, whose warmth, humor, and compassion especially shine through, but every single staff member I encountered made me feel cared-for, and tremendously relieved my nervousness. You are truly treated as a family member from the moment you step into Northern Dutchess Hospital...and the food is wonderful! My hip replacement was yesterday and I am back home, with a minimal amount of pain and functioning beautifully, albeit with a walker and a few special tools (for dressing, retrieving items that are not safely or comfortably within reach, etc.) for a few weeks. I only require minimal assistance. I am so, so grateful to Dr. Lombardo and the staff of Northern Dutchess Hospital. They have given me tremendous mobility improvement in the future, in an atmosphere of dignity, excellence, and compassion. I am so glad that I received my care at Northern Dutchess Hospital, and I urge anyone needing treatment to do so, too.

Susan Rogers Had to go to an emergency room for a critical procedure, and am so pleased that I went to Northern Dutchess! Every person we met was friendly and knowledgeable, fantastic nurses, great doctor, and overall just a really civilized experience. Not sure if I got super-lucky, but check-in was fast, and then I truly believe they got me treated as quickly as possible. Most importantly, I feel confident that I received competent care at every step. Hope I don’t have to go back anytime soon, but very happy I chose Northern Dutchess.

Sarah Mills The specialty doctors that my husband uses have been wonderful! However, Im giving 3 stars due to being unable to make follow up appointments. He saw the pulmonologist in June. Its supposed to be a 6 month follow up and theres only a template up until September?? WTH

Helen Johnson Unfortunately, Thursday evening, I had to make use of the services provided by the emergency department. I am so impressed. The doctors, nurses, x-ray techs, and other personnel were wonderful. All were professional, kind, patient and knowledgeable. They explained everything that they were doing to help me. Thank you to all.

A P Dr Goodrich is excellent and incredibly thorough with her patients. My one star is for the management of the office and women that run the desk. Incredibly rude and treat patients waiting with contempt. It’s a shame Dr Goodrich has these women running things.

Lisa Jarvis This group has been my general practice provider for 17 years. The service has only gotten better with the move to the new facility which includes x-ray on the premises. Dr. Johnson is the kind of old-fashioned GP one doesnt see much of anymore-Always takes time to ask in depth questions and provide comprehensive care. In addition, the pricing is fair and I have never waited more than 15 minutes to be taken in. I dont know what the bad reviewers are on about...I can go to any GP I want and I am still here at Callan/CMH

Zita Kobos Saddens me to write this as the care here is O.K. and we have used the Rapid Emergency Care. The problem I have is trying to call the office to cancel an appointment. Repeatedly asked if I could be put on hold and before I could answer I was put on hold. Called EIGHT times in 30 minutes and still couldnt get through. Needed to cancel an appointment. Ridiculous, if one receptionist isnt enough than hire another one.

Diane Ball Before I went to dr Wilson vs after. I dont have my smile anymore my gap is bigger my teeth dont match and he ground down my canines at least in the back cant really notice in the front I do not recommend him as a dentist and their office doesnt remind you of an appointment and takes you off of their client list if you miss an appointment because they didnt call you to remind you I know its kind of on me but its also kind of on them too its their job to remind us worst dentist ever

Mike Jones Do not go there , Save yourself the time to find an actual dentist . Wilson is a waste of time. Drove 2 hours For an emergency dental appointment , Emergency appointment lol broke my tooth. after very specifically telling the lady on the phone. My issues and problems with my teeth drove 2 hours. Mind you which I explain to them as well what was going on with me in detail. So I get.There they told me they Only have one outdated machine mister Wilson comes in, tells me how they werent gonna do anything today, but just try to take. Some x-rays thanks, which was completely the opposite of what the emergency appointment was for specifically set up by his desk clerk. Long story short, he told me its not his problem. And that I need a drive a couple more hours somewhere else. I went there with no pain. They forced my jaw to open and I left there crying. I would rather get my teeth removed by a back alley.Crackhead than Wilson, which honestly.Hes probably only running that place to feed his drug habit . I hope you get Lugarics disease

Veronique Gambier It is difficult to get an appointment but the doctors and nurses are professional and very attentive. We are 4 of us in my family. Between Docor Murphy and Doctor Murray-Surman, we are getting all the care we need. Dont let the people at the front desk discourage you, you just have to get through. This is a great practice.

Andrew Oldridge Dr. William Murphy is one of the most unprofessional, irresponsible, disrespectful, and dismissive doctors I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Columbia County has a doctor shortage and yet somehow he still has availability for new patients- once someone sees Dr. Murphy as a patient it’s clear why he still has availability and that is because if they have any other options they choose to no longer be treated by him. The entire office follows his poor example and is disorganized and irresponsible with zero interest in patient care or general show of empathy. Beware of the lack of care you will receive.

Christine K The lack of ability of this office to get an MRI sent to an actual place that does them is astounding. My husband was seen weeks ago and sent for an MRI - so far to three different places that cant even do one. We asked it to be sent to the SPHP network since none of their 3 locations could schedule it. Finally, after numerous phone calls and promises, a new script was sent to the new imaging location. FOR AN XRAY. Weve spoken to numerous office members and just nothing has gotten resolved. As of today, we are back to an MRI being canceled and an XRay being ordered again (he already had one). Im just disgusted with the entire thing. I wouldnt recommend this nightmare to anyone. Meanwhile, my husband is in agony, cannot sleep, and whatever hes going to need, this office has made it painfully impossible to get to the next step of making a treatment plan. Absolute incompetence.

Roxanne I went in with only a 10% range of motion in my neck. Kristin and Kate were able to get me up to 50%, which was a big achievement for me. They were very knowledgeable, put me at ease, and knew exactly what to do. I was very encouraged with the immediate results. When I told them I had vision issues, they printed out the home exercises with enlarged print so I could see them easily. The reception staff is also excellent . They go above and beyond the call of duty, checking on elderly patients to make sure they are stable and comfortable, even bringing out chairs for them so they could wait by the door to await their ride. I was very impressed with everyone and highly I recommend this physical therapy group.

Eddie James Having to go to the ER can be your worst day but having the right nurses and doctors there can really make a difference for you. Hello my name is Devon and I recently had to go to the ER twice in one week which absolutely no one wants to do. My experience at the Catskill hospital in Harris was absolutely amazing both times! Andrew the Pa in the er is absolutely outstanding in how he takes care of you but most importantly how he speaks to you and takes the time to understand you. You are not just a number. Percilla the nurse in the er is right there with him along with Michelle and the discharge nurse Erin was also pretty amazing! Thank you to you all! Remember people their jobs are extremely hard to do and kindness from patients goes a long way as well as being patient with the team of doctors and nurses caring for you.

Jessie Moore Wonderful experience from to the ED, to an overnight stay, to the OR. The staff was wonderful and very attentive to my sister. We usually go to Middletown, but their ED wait time was very long so we tried Harris. Honestly, I’m glad we did!

o Dr mckeon has been extremely rude every single time ive seen her over the course of 2 years. She has never once helped me, ignores me, refuses to treat condition i need treated, but tries to force me to take meds that i very clearly told her will make me kill myself. One time she just left, and didnt tell me the appointment was over or anything. I just sat in the room waiting until a nurse told me she had no idea why the doctor just left me there

Tan Medra Tried to establish primary care for me and my wife. A receptionist called Susan kept asking me for my information, she didnt answer who was going to be the doctor until I provided my address, SSN and everything, just to realize the doctors name is not in my network. The new doctor is not even in the office yet, so theres no way to know if she is considering to be in my network at any point. She hung up before I could even ask to schedule with someone else.

Lisa Lines Sebastian Martorano is a Physician Assistant not a doctor! Had he read my husbands chart he could see he sufferes from chronic pain, instead he did not renew his pain medications that have worked for 15 years leaving him no ween of course, he told him to just sit back for a couple of days and he will be fine. I was livid, this place will pull all your medications they think are not necessary, even though they have worked for years! This PA tried to give him other medications that have severe side effect. DO NOT GO THERE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR HEALTH.

Elton Vandermark I would never recommend this practice to anyone, DrOke is not an compatible doctor ,he fights with his patients and agrues with them Do your homework before thinking about this practice. NEVER TRUST DR.OKE with your medical care.

David Greco Worst Office around. No help trying to get patients in. They do not do reminder calls and book appointments months out. If you are a few minutes late they will try to reschedule your appointment months out for you. If you call the office at 8am when they are open they won’t answer the phone until 8:30. The answering service will also tell you the office doesn’t open until 8:45 when they are actually open at 8. Worst medical services around. Been trying to get appointments for 6 months and now I’ll be going to a new Doctor office.

Jordan I was checked in the emergency department and greeted warmly & quickly which i couldn’t complain. All the issues started after when seeing the doctor. The doctor came in with a stiff attitude. I had my Son who’s a toddler but was in the emergency room for my daughter. She proceeded to make passive aggressive comments such as “you need to watch out for this one” referring to my son & when asked about my age she looked me up and down & goes “oh a baby” then shuts the door. I had a friend who was in even more disbelief about that comment than me. I’m a young mom i’m not new to getting prejudged about 2 kids at my age but this was just highly unprofessional. It was getting a bit late for my son as it was approaching his bedtime so he started misbehaving so i just wanted to leave. My daughter did not need to be hooked up to anything, no medications were administered, no further care besides waiting it out so i figured why can’t we just wait it out at home at this point. If i didn’t have my toddler i would have stayed the whole night but to me it just wasn’t worth it since we could’ve just done what we were doing in the hospital room at the comfort of our home. I went to the nursing station to find the doctor since she would have to be the one to discharge us & her stiff attitude came again along with a nurse named Jamie. When speaking to the doctor Jamie was looking at me like i had 5 heads then proceeded to insert herself in the conversation saying “you can’t just leave” & then when i lost it. I’m no stranger to mistreatment at medical settings which is unfortunate considering i came to seek care for my daughter not to get a judge & a jury. The cherry on top was this paper being in my discharge papers!

Wendell Dauch I was in the ER due to severe pain in my upper back that I was feeling in my chest to my right neck and shoulder, my blood pressure was shown high due to not able to sleep and the sharp pains. I was told and received a EKG and was told to just sit in the waiting area until seen in the er, I arrived around 1: 39 pm and waited for almost 7 hours. With my medical issues of having a stroke and hospitalized 6 times in 2024 I was made to wait and wait while others waiting to be seen were coughing and leaving their used tissues on the floor of the waiting area. While more people showed up and were taken into the ER. My problem is that someone came out saying they were the Manager of the ER and actually was yelling at me and everyone else patiently waiting; saying I have a total of 101 people in the ER with 31 patients waiting for a bed and those of us waiting to be seen. I was shocked to hear and see an employee from the hospital treat those of us needing to be seen and the lack of not caring about it. Understanding the need of waiting is needed but to be treated like we are a nobody is totally unacceptable in this type of situation. Mind you, I understand that the hospital gets busy at times and have always been patient for my turn like always. I appreciate the doctors and nurses at the hospital! But, the hospital needs to be understanding the needs of everyone also. Not treat people like a nobody. I ended up leaving due to all of this happening. The ER needs better management. Garnet is better than this. My opinion and my right to be posting about this situation. Thanks.

Faith Cherry I had an emergency room visit recently and was treated with utmost kindness and respect and I was able to get from an emergency situation and get back home, thank you emergency staff

Sally Nelson Daughter taken in with severe stomach pains and uncontrollable vomiting. Treated promptly, but left very drowsy with the after-effects of the medication. Now theyve turfed her out of the ER and made her wait in the waiting room, where shes now asleep on the floor. I wouldnt treat a dog this way. Ive made repeated attempts to get an Uber back to where were staying in Phoenicia, but none are available. Cannot wait to leave. If this is their idea of compassionate patient care, then I must beg to differ. Disgusting.

Walter Jones Well for me this is my first look at Cumberland hospital since I was born there, and that was 1968. Im wondering if I should be proud of that after seeing some of these reviews

Nastazia I was referred to this location for social work by my primary care Dr & I initially had an appointment for today 6/25 and I had found out on 6/25 that they rescheduled my appointment for yesterday 6/24 & cancelled my appointment without notifying me and making me aware of any changes to my appointment. They had to had changed it yesterday on 6/24 because I checked frequently to view messages and results on MyChart & there wasn’t any changes to the appointment until last min. I did call to try to make them aware of it but I can’t even get through to anyone on the phone, it automatically disconnects.. I never even been to this location before so it’s already off to a bad start.

Marlene Barranco Helen Brady will tell people lies about you to others when she has never seen you as a patient! Gossip hound! She will tell people anything she wants. If there is even a whiff of a possible rumor that woman will spread it like wildfire! Do not trust her as far as you can see her!

Jessica Lynn I don’t normally bother to write reviews but I had such a positive experience at this urgent care, I wanted to share it. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate me from the moment I walked in the door. My insurance can be difficult to navigate but the nice lady at reception went the extra mile to figure it out for me. She was kind, friendly and helpful. The gentleman who did my intake was warm, sympathetic and completely professional. We chatted pleasantly but more importantly, I felt he took my health concerns seriously. I had a couple of things going on and he listened to everything I said, asking questions about the details to make sure the clinician who would be seeing me would have all the pertinent information. After being shown to my room, where I only waited briefly, a lovely practitioner showed up. She went over my concerns and addressed each one. I was given the health tests I needed and a professional exam and assessment. She was nice, attentive and methodical and I didn’t feel at all rushed. The whole experience only took an hour. The facility was very clean and the entire staff was professional, kind and excellent. I would highly recommend this urgent care to anyone.

Emily Rose My significant other has been ill with flu-like symptoms for 4 days. I urged him to go to UrgentCare for stronger medication as his fever is not breaking with Tylenol. Michelyn Myers PA coerced him to not receive a flu-test and presumed it was the flu. She directed him to pick up a handful of OTC medications and sent him on his way, after he had vomited in the exam room. Not giving flu/COVID tests for symptomatic patients alters local flu statistics - malpractice. It is also noted in his paperwork that he has been ill for 2 days, not 4 - false documentation - malpractice. He was not treated AT ALL. Waited for 2 hours and was seen for less than 15 minutes. She stated his symptoms would resolve in "2-3 weeks." Wouldnt be so if he was given proper attention and medication. I contacted UrgentCare for direction to a manager or HR, the first number was internal HR for employees, the second number given was for Public Relations, but they are closed after 4:30pm and not available on the weekends. I am appalled with his treatment, or lack thereof, and will be taking further action as his symptoms have gotten worse since him being there this afternoon.

Darcy Wood This office is great. I love Teal . But Robin the nurse is horrible. Always so rude. Exhibits destain and rude behavior. Just over all unprofessional and snotty. Shes in the wrong business. Normally I have no complaints except for having to deal with her. Normally I can tolerate her, but today I was in excruciating pain and she just made it worse with her Kurt responses and sarcastic questions. Its no way to be treated when you really need help and are there for treatment to be treated in this way is reprehensible.

Lily Briggs Absolutely horrible, the worst attitude I’ve ever experienced. During a call I was hung up on and just had to sit there and cry. Also what doctors office makes you reschedule 3 months out FOR AN EMERGENCY CHECKUP when you called to say you were going to be 10 mins late due to those said health issues… I called again too and received the same treatment. I’ve now been waiting a year to get into this doctor’s and at this point I’m just going to go somewhere else because my body is starting to give up and I want to be able to live an actual life. So yeah definitely don’t recommend this office to anyone

James Marsh Went here to prepare for my Drs retirement. Couldnt understand a single word the Dr said! Had a45 minute interview that talked about off the wall subjects and anything but my health care concerns. This after 2 trips there! Had no idea if he understood me. Refused A drug Ive taken for over a decade. After leaving and talking to my regular doctor (prior to retirement) he told me disregard & throw away what va gave me and treated me! I wont go back here until they get a proper Dr
